Voodoo Shield

I was sailing around map 1-4 and something was draining points from my voodoo shield. There was nothing visible in the area. What is going on?

 

Looks like the shinies 'its a trap you lose 50 hp' is not taking it away from hp but from voodoo..

Pretty sure this is the case, must be another bug..

also seeing alot more of these shinies which is a pain.. & no shields in shinies.. bah

 

i think theres a glitch that allows people to shoot you while under lite at the moment guys.. Keep your eyes on attacking ship hp bar if you notice your loosing some. target using that by double clicking and you should start fireing back

 

True but he did say he was in 1-4 ^^

 

Food for thought: I don't think this is a glitch on the hit point shineys taking away from the Voodoo Shields. I noticed this change too, and it makes sense to me: the Voodoo Shields are your first "line of defense", and therefore one could argue that is how it always should have worked. Remember it takes the special ammo such as "Voodoo Doom" to attack the outer armor (Voodoo) and the inner armor (Regular Base with your Agwe's Armor Plates on) at the same time. Just my opinion.
