how many of you are sick of the gold cheating

you see a mega you bid 5 million then 10 million then you cap someone for 100million and toss that in the market and loss all of the gold, ,
taking a poll , how many of you sick of the gold cheating in the game

 

gotta agree with there piggy. the gold cheats are a real downer for the game.

 

On some servers 2.500.000.000 is not enough to bid for deck , the bugged gold and cloned cannon is not a permanent ban, after the ban ends, bugged cannons stay on the ship I wonder why?

 

I personally don't have any view on this one but I'm still new and I'm not bidding against those who are leading for the whole 45 minutes. As far as I know the admins are banning cheaters everyday so we can just hope for it

 

As far as I know this is an ongoing issue that hasn't been addressed at all, if you'd like to discuss or report any issues, contact support or post under the Technical issues, my personal view is they've waited for to long to fix this, they even said they fixed it once and it's back for round two, if it doesn't cost them much if any money then they don't really care. Remember they said new maps and elite levels in I forget, early 2013 I think, I'm no expert but I think it's been a little while since then.

 

Some people just bid everything on the market cove and you can't overbid them.

 

If they can put a limit on how many hp you can have on a boat then they can limit the gold on a boat. and remember the 90 day bans will be over in a couple of weeks and all of the big boats will be back with all their stuff

 

Whilst we do understand your frustrations and have asked that a cap be put in place this has not happened yet.

People who bid large amounts of gold are immediatly flagged by the system. I know this because my buddy once got a huge cap off a gold cheat, and a good sized guild hand out which he used to get a couple decks and a level 4 carpenter. He got the items, but Bigpoint took away most of the rest of his gold. They were pretty nice about it, but rather inflexible. Oh well, any amount of gold is suspicious in the game.

 

probably on your server because in US1 east you have players bidding for days... and yes, I don't know how they do the "cheat" but I don't think it will be that hard to remove.

Unless.... BigPoint wants it that way so honest players have to waste their money to get pearls to buy the items intead of using "normal" gold ammounts...

 

Not sure why BigPoint or the mods don't come onto the US East server (and other servers) and watch the bids - you'll see the same ship bid on multiple items for high prices. In my mind that enough evidence to be suspicious and warrant a search.

Personally, I don't bid but hear players complain all the time.

 

Thats why the auction should show the current bid.

 

how to solve the gold issues ?

firstly reset all gold to 0 in guilds and everyones acccount.

remove the ability to buy and sell gold decks. (because they cant be bought no more all players with no decks should be instantly given gold decks when they bid for pearl decks it just instantly upgrades as normal).

set a limit on what can be bough example beams(gold) a player can buy 100 of these but cannot sell them.

lanterns and equipment disable the selling feature altoghether

i think by not allowing people to sell gold items will fix the issues.

 

It would be nice if Bigpoint finally started to remove illegal items , items gained by illegal gold, cloned cannon , bug cannonballs , castles and other illegal items

 

I'm sick & tired of bigpoints attuide toward players and their indefferance to the bugs glitches and general performance of the game I for one will be leaving shortly better games else where

 

Just reset everyone's gold to 30k like at start and make a max. gold cap... you can't play on US1 east server because there are so many players just bidding all the things.

 

should bigpoint just no check ship that use cheat gold, review their guild too. should guilds have gold 4.8billion max. but many guilds have more than max in game ((
