Decent event so far, the rewards from the npcs are good and I'm glad that the announcement is able to be seen more than 1 map away so quests can actually get done. However, there should never be a cap on how much ammo you can buy. This event is also not friendly to smaller boats at all. The npcs hit too hard for smaller boats and the boarding bonus needed to board them is going to prevent many smaller boats from being able to progress through the quests.

 

The limit will be lifted tomorrow during the sync.

Vengeful shipwrecks (and shipwrecks in general) should spawn faster. I have played for hours in many maps and I am yet to see a vengeful shipwreck. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

 

Please change the admiral call out on the next event ^^.

The game cant handle everyone being in 1 map unfortunately. Be great if it could.

There is a small issue with giving players the 15 x dragonfire... this is the second time I get gold instead of dragonfire when I already have the ship design. Could you please be so kind as to forward this issue to the responsible people ?

 

easily obtainable if you work together. this all maps announcement just causes ridiculous lag. i havent even bothered to shoot the admiral because the amount of ships there as soon as you get shot you cant move. Seafight cant handle many ships in 1 map and this just proves it

 

To the people calling out for massive lag on the admiral I am wondering what the problem is. I have no lag even when there is 30 plus ships shooting and my internet isn’t even that good. But I have 24gb of ram and the newest core perhaps u all need an upgrade?

 

"Perhaps" your very very lucky I game left right and center and the only game I have problems with is Seafight (I think Satans Curse works for PC World)

Try using boost under graphics settings

 

To be fair I have tried several different gameing computers and have found that some don’t handle the game that well. I’m not quite sure why this is as they are designed to run games far more laggy then this one. But there is some computers that will for sure run without lag. As said above u can try to fiddle with the game setting a bit and see if that helps to shoot the admiral.

 

I've sailed around for hours too and haven't seen any vengeful shipwrecks and so I totally agree.

 

vengefuls appear to be in maps 31 and higher

 

As the FAQ states it is a small chance. If you do not receive the fallback reward of 15 dragonfires, then you did not get the small chance even if you did receive gold.

I have yet to see the admiral announced in a map below 29. I like the all maps announce as at least there is proof that it is spawning, even if it is in maps I can't reach. It gives me hope that it will eventually spawn where I can go so I can get the quest done and move on to the daily (as long as it doesn't also involve the admiral ).

I don't like the high boarding value of the Screaming Dragon, I'm far from being a beginner boat (by also far from being a top boat) and I had to tweak every little boarding option and put on full pearl equipment to just barely get it boarded. If you have to board two of them for the second quest, that will leave a lot of boats unable to do any of the quests past the first one.

 

I agree with you Bawdyn, I am a little boat and my event quests end at the second one. As far as the admiral announcement, I have mixed opinions. 1) if announced in all maps it's good because I might get a chance at it, But it leads to a lot of other boats there too which leads to less profit and more lag(it's like freedom event this way.) 2) announcement in a 1 map radius leads to fewer boats and more profit, But I would have to be in the right place at the right time for the announcement. So I would like it to go all maps like the Freedom event. Event is alright , I just wish they would lower boarding on second quest, or I can't do them for season.

 

Hello there, can anyone confirm me that you can win this design Mighty Rodent from Scrap Rat. I got last shoot like 10 of them but the only thing im getting after i got this two designs Razorback, Golden Hound is gold. I know that there is a chance.

 

Thank you for that observation! However, it is very disappointing to find this out. It does make sense because I am Level 30 and have yet to see one. So go figure.

Depending on how much damage you've inflicted you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls.
All players who have at least inflicted 5% damage have a chance to receive the “Golden Hound” design, “Razorback” design, 20 x Dragonfire level 2 or Mighty Rodent.
The player who do the last shot has a chance to receive the “Golden Hound”, Razorback, Mighty Rodent designs or 20 x Dragonfire level 2.
