The Curse of the Ice Queen​

The event starts at 12 noon on November 30th and ends at 12 noon on January 4th.

All times are local server times.

“The Curse of the Ice Queen” event features the following:

• Base event with two factions (Commonwealth Greeks and Vikings) and 6 event ships (3 per faction)
• 7 sub events:

  • Base event: 2 rankings, one for each faction. Points for killing base event ships (rewarded at end of the event)
  • Winterfest Wanderer: - Yuletide - Point based ranking for keeping the gift the longest (rewarded daily during sub event)
  • Snowman crusher: Time based ranking for the Snowman mini game (rewarded at the end of the sub event)
  • Dominator: - Dare to Dominate - Point based ranking from winnings in the arena (rewarded at the end of the sub event)
  • Wyrm Wrangler: - Midgard Wyrm - Points for killing Midgard Wyrm sub event ships (rewarded at the end of the sub event)

Date and Times

• The Winter Calendar starts at midnight on the first of December and will run until the 24th December.

• Enter the Underworld takes place from 12 noon on 1st December until 12 noon on 7th December.

• The “Yuletide” phase takes place from 12 noon on 1st December until 12 noon on 14th December.

• Krampus Peril takes place from 12 noon on 7th December until 12 noon on 14th December.

• “Snowman Crusher” phase takes place from 12 noon on 11th December until 12 noon on 31st December.

• The “Midgard Wyrm” phase takes place from 12 noon on 14th December until 12 noon on 21st December.

• The “Winter Wonderland” phase takes places from 12 noon on 14th December until 12 noon on 31st December

• “Dare to Dominate” phases take place:
  • From 12 noon on 4th December until 12 noon on 7th December.
  • From 12 noon on 11th December until 12 noon on 14th December.
  • From 12 noon on 18th December until 12 noon on 21st December.
  • From 12 noon on 25th December until 12 noon on 28th December.

Base Event General Info

The base event is a hunt event with two factions: Commonwealth Greeks and Vikings.
You collect reputation for those factions by sinking enemy NPC Ships and doing quests.
You can collect reputation for both factions.

Base Event NPCs

Razorback’s Tusk, Semele's Warden, Battering Ram and Maia’s Guardian can be found on maps 5 to 45. Sentinel Stag and Leto’s Sentinel can be found on maps 19 to 45.
Razorback’s Tusk and Semele's Warden can be shot with all types of ammunition, Battering Ram, Maia’s Guardian, Sentinel Stag and Leto’s Sentinel must be shot with elite ammunition.​

Phase NPCs

During all phases where ancient and magical emblems are needed, Bjorgold can be found on maps 5 to 45. Bjorgold must be shot whit elite ammunition. Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with XP.
Bjorgold spawns “surprise boxes” on death which contain Ancient or Magical emblems.​

The stack limit for Ancient emblems is: 200​

Ammunition

Snow ammunition causes much more damage against all base event ships and Bjorgold.​

Rewards (NPCs)

NB: If you are not using the Seafight Client you will not receive all the rewards listed below, or you will receive less rewards than those who are using the Seafight Client.

• Razorback’s Tusk:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you receive EXP, ELP and Snow ammunition, additionally you receive “Winter Light”, “Candles”, “Snowman”, “Gingerbread men” or further ELP.
  
  
• Semele's Warden:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you receive EXP, ELP and Snow ammunition, additionally you receive “Winter Light”, “Candles”, “Snowman”, “Gingerbread men” or further ELP.
  
  
• Battering Ram:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP, ELP and Gingerbread men.

Winter Puzzle

To get hold of the “Curse Breaker “ design you need to collect 6 different parts of the ship.

• Part 1 can be gained in the “Enter the Underworld”, “Krampus Peril”, “Winter Wonderland” and “Midgard Wyrm” sub events.

• Part 2 can be found in the Event Treasure Chests.

• Part 3 can be gained in the “Yuletide” sub event.

• Part 4 can be gained by opening at least 20 of the 24 doors of the “Winter Calendar”.

• Part 5 can be gained in the “Dare to Dominate” sub event.

• Part 6 can be gained in the “Snowman Crusher” sub event.

If you miss out on getting one of the parts of the ship design, you can get them by trading in your collected “Candy Canes”.​

Event Treasure Chest

In the Event Treasure Chests, you find many useful items, like Snow ammunition, Snowman, Simbi Amulets, Tritons Benevolence, Winter lights, Bloodlust, Unstoppable, Lionhearts, Firestorm cannon level 0 and other items. Additionally, you have a chance to receive Mojos as well as Gingerbread men or Candy Canes and the puzzle piece part 2.​

Ice Floes

The Ice Floes must be shot with harpoons The player who does the last shot gets useful items such as Snow ammunition, Candle, Winter Light, Skyfire, Firestorm cannon level 0 and Event keys.​

Yuletide Sub Event

The “Yuletide” (a gift chasing event) sub event is an event where a player must hold onto the gift for as long as possible to gain points and finish high in the rankings.

You are only allowed to pick up the gift on a map of your level range as follows: Map and pirate level 2 – 6, 7 – 12, 13 – 16, 17 – 20, 21 – 26, 27 – 30, 31 – 40 and 41 – 45.​

Note: If you leave your level range you automatically lose the gift.​

Midgard Wyrm Sub Event

The “Midgard Wyrm” is a small spawn sub event where you can hunt four event ships, Cataclysmic Corsair, Deadly Dragon, Apocalypse Alert and “Midgard Wyrm”.

“Midgard Wyrm” is an admiral ship which spawn after a certain number of Cataclysmic Corsair, Deadly Dragon and Apocalypse Alert have been sunken.

All 4 sub event ships must be shot with elite ammunition.​

Midgard Wyrm Sub Event NPCs Rewards

• Cataclysmic Corsair:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, there is also a very small chance to get part 1 of the puzzle.
  • The player who inflicts most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with Crowns.
  
  
• Deadly Dragon:
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, there is also a very small chance to get part 1 of the puzzle.

• Shell shock ammunition causes more damage against Cataclysmic Corsair.

• Kraken Poison ammunition causes more damage against Deadly Dragon.

• Heartbreaker ammunition causes more damage against Apocalypse Alert.

• Snow ammunition causes more damage against Midgard Wyrm.

Snowman Crusher

Visit Magnus Halbert to get access to the “snowman” map, it costs magical emblems (the amount depends on how often you have played the mini game).

In the first phase, the “snowman” is in the middle of the map and doesn´t move. During that phase, you can shoot the “snowman”. When the “snowman” has lost a certain amount of HP the 2nd phase starts:

• In the that phase, the “snowman” is not attackable. Presents and ice floe boxes spawn on the map. Ice floes provide you with a damage buff (during that phase) and presents move to the “snowman”, if they reach him, they heal the “snowman” and de-spawn.

• The 2nd phase ends when all presents are gone (healed the “snowman” or sunk) and the 1st phase starts again.

The mini game ends when you get sunk or you sink the “Snowman”.

When you sink the “Snowman”, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns and Yulong Coins.

Just perfect results count for the “Snowman crusher” ranking.​

Dare to Dominate Arena

You can access the Arena by speaking to Magnus Halbert (Safe haven).
Every team has five team members.

After joining the map your design changes (it`s just a visual exchange, your gem stats stay) and you receive a buff. You also note three NPCs on the map which can be conquered by destruction. The team members need to shoot the monster to kill it.

On destruction, a new NPC spawns that belongs to the team.

The NPC attacks players by spawning small damage zones under a player. The zone stays for some seconds and causes damage to all players of the enemy team.

Each NPC gives points for the belonging team. That means the more NPCs the team has the faster the team get points.

Each minute the team also gets a certain amount of points for each NPC the team has.
The team that reaches 1.000 Points first wins the arena.

Points are also awarded for killing players of the enemy team.​

Dare to Dominate Arena Rewards

After you finish the arena fight, you are rewarded with Pearls, Event Keys and Ranking Points:

Enter the Underworld Group Map

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Enter the Underworld” from the Safe Haven by speaking to Magnus Halbert.

After you have chosen the role you want to play, (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and Tank”), and the team is full, you will be teleported to the group map.

Enter the Underworld is played in 3 phases, where you meet the Feared Amarok.​

• Phase 1: When you Enter the Underworld, you see a number of GHOST-ships, spawning around Amarok and slowly moving towards him.

• Amarok attacks the players, while GHOST-ships ignore them. If the GHOST-ships reach to the Amarok, he destroys/eats them.

• For each GHOST, Amarok destroy, he regains some life.

• Phase 1 ends, when all the GHOSTs are dead, (destroyed or killed).

• Phase 2: In this phase, two zones appear in the map. One is representing the SUN and the other is representing the MOON.

• Also, two minions spawn, Fenris and Cerberus. Amarok starts attacking Fenris.

• The Phase ends if Fenris enters the SUN Zone or if Cerberus enters the MOON Zone.

• Phase 3: Amarok changes his behavior, depending on which minion is reaching a specific zone.
  • Amarok with Fenris: This is the same as the initial phase, BUT:
    • Fenris is trapped in the corresponding zone. He receives a 100% speed loss, and the zone vanishes.
    • Cerberus is attacking the players now. He gets a damage buff, which increases his damage. The damage buff can be applied multiple times, and is stackable up to 16 buffs, as follows:
      • First time, apply 1 buff
      • Second time apply 5 buffs
      • Third time apply 10 buffs
  • An area effect, that damages everything except the boss/minion, can be applied to Cerberus, and stays attached to him for the remaining time of the phase.
  • A de-buff, decreasing the speed, can be applied on Cerberus.
    • Effect is removed if the phase changes or if MOON dies.
    • If the minion dies, he applies a damage buff to the “Big Wolf Boss”.
    
    
  • The phase ends if all the GHOSTs are dead, (destroyed or killed).
  
  
• Amarok with Cerberus: This is same as the initial phase, BUT:
  • Cerberus is trapped in the corresponding zone. He receives a 100% speed loss, and the zone vanishes.
  • Fenris is attacking the players now. He will get a damage buff, which increases his damage. The damage buff can be applied multiple times, and is stackable up to 16 buffs, as follows:
    • First time, apply 1 buff
    • Second time apply 5 buffs
    • Third time apply 10 buffs
    
    
  • When GHOSTs spawn, they are poisoned, and thus be weakened.
  • The GHOSTs can be healed by the healer of the group.
    • GHOSTs eventually die before they reach the boss, but if the GHOSTs receive enough healing to reach Amarok, they damage him.
    • If a GHOST dies, it makes Amarok stronger.
    • The phase ends if all the GHOSTs are dead, (destroyed or killed).

Rules:

• Players win, if Amarok dies

• Players loose, if Fenris dies

• Amarok benefits, if either Fenris or Cerberus is killed by the players

• Amarok benefits even more, if both minions are killed

• A killed minion does not respawn during the remain of the fight

Krampus Peril Group Map

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Krampus Peril” group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Magnus Halbert.

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and “Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the Krampus Peril group map.

The group map has 3 phases and the goal is to protect the “Merry People” and sink the BOSS “Krampus”. The group map is won if “Krampus” is sunk and lost when all “Merry People” are dead.

In the first phase 3 different Toys (Past Toy, Present Toy and Future Toy) spawn in 3 corners and “Party Crasher” spawn beside the Toys and try to sink the Toys.

Tip: Try to save as much Toys as possible they are needed in the 3rd phase.

The second phase starts when all “Party Crasher” or Toys have been sunk.

In that phase the Toys follow the Damage Dealers. When the Toys are sunk, they spawn a Tower on the nearest Island.

• “Past Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Hurtinglight” tower, which applies a de-buff (- Damage prevention) against “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

• “Present Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Cripplinglight” tower, which applies a de-buff (-Speed) on “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

• “Future Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Smashinglight” tower, which attacks “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

The second phase ends when all Toys have been sunk or after 120 seconds and all remaining Toys de-spawn.

In the third phase “Krampus” spawns and tries to sink the “Merry People” which also spawn in that phase. The “Merry people” follow the tank as long the Player with that role is in view range, if there is no Tank in view range they idle.

“Krampus” is using the following skills:

• Spawns “Evil Minions” and “Hateful Minion”

• De-buff a player with “multiplicate bomb” or “dividing bomb”

• In a zone around “Krampus” all “Merry People” are damaged.
  • If there are no “Merry People” in that zone “Krampus” buffs itself (with extra Cannon Damage and Speed)

When “Krampus” is dead the map is won and all players receive Pearls and by a small change the 1st puzzle piece. Crowns are rewarded for every “Merry people” which has survived.​

Winter Wonderland

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Winter Wonderland” group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Magnus Halbert.

After you choose the role you want to play (Fire, Earth, Air) and the team is full you are teleported to the “Winter Wonderland” group map.

Goal of the Group map is to protect “Northern Lighthouse” as long as possible against waves of NPCs.

When you are ported to the Group map you receive “Hammer of Elements” which can be used to build Towers (depending on your role: Fire tower, Earth tower or Air Tower) and upgrade the towers (via the quest system, the towers are also quest giver).

The towers have following effects (beside the normal damage):

· Fire towers: Apply a burning de-buff against the NPCs
· Earth towers: Apply a slowing de-buff against the NPCs
· Air towers: Apply a buff to other towers in zone around the tower which reduced the Reload speed.

You are rewarded after each wave with Hammer of Elements, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong Coins or Safanad Coins.

When you enter the “Winter Wonderland” group map you receive a “Frost de-buff” every few seconds. The “Frost de-buff” makes you ship slower at some point it deals also damage against you. A new action item, “Campfire“, which you get when you are ported to the group map can be used to spawn a campfire, as long as you are in the zone of the campfire you don´t get new stacks of the “Frost de-buff” when there aren´t any “Frost de-buffs” applied you get a “Warmth buff”, which increase your speed and cannon reload time, but be careful, when you have too much stacks of the “Warmth buff” it deals a lot of damage to you.

The group map ends, when “Northern Lighthouse” is sunk. Depending on how many waves “Northern Lighthouse” has survived you are rewarded with ranking points, ported back to the normal maps and all remaining “Hammer of Elements” and “Campfire” are removed from your inventory.
