    Dear everyone,

Let us look at game mechanics.

    NPC NAME: FROSTY SCAR

Many coders are aware that programs need a solid set name in code to work which tells a program how to opperate in some cases.

Onto my idea.. I think we should have npc with a number sequence at the end of the names 1-9.

NPC NAME: FROSTY SCAR (1) This 1 value will constantly change like google authenticator, 1,9,10,300,451 - 10,000 and back to 1. The end number will change every second and could count up as high as bigpoint would like say to 10,000 each number would be randomly generated.

This will make it even harder for bots to operate.

I hope that my idea helps fix the big bot problem.

Surely with this operation coders would just change there code to shoot the npc at any number?

  3. It will not work, its easy to just change itself in a program, to just have a random numbers in the program from - or +. It will not either help to change the colours of the pixels for an example, since thats also easy to fix...

The number will be random every second which could be random up to 80,000 or higher or could be a mix of numbers and symbols a lot like CAPTCHA.

  5. They could try, but I guess I`m not wrong about what I did write above..But do you think they wanna get it a try ?

Hi and the next Let npc boats on the map that hit extremely hard if you are hit you have to enter a code that only appears for the affected player that code must happen within a certain time otherwise you will be sunk so the robots will get less sense greetings

I feel like we need a different approach to cheaters. I feel like bigpoint knows exactly who the cheaters are but they can't lose the income which I kinda understand. I feel like the current banning system should stay or improve but we should focus on the fair players. Instead of punishing the cheaters why not reward the honest players. Make the rewards worth it , special market acces , acces to the slashing blades for free , special season rewards,... The possiblities are endless. All you need to do is banwaves every 2weeks or month and reward the players who didnt cheat until they get caught cheating. If they get caught they loose the benefits. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Anyway I dont believe this will ever happen altho it could make the game more appealing. Good luck Bigpoint !

  8. Well...the one thing that is constant with Seafight is that there have been people who have chosen to cheat since the inception of the game. This, I suspect, is true with all online games. What is the motivation? Well, it makes it easier to succeed, which is a basic motivation for humans, right? I mean, my god, just look at politicians...lol! Nothing will stop this behavior.. So...in an aging game platform, like Seafight, what would you do if you owned it? Knowing that a good percentage of your income base also are people who violate the game rules, would you choose to just look the other way or start doing something to stop the cheat? Would you choose to lose money by rewarding players who choose not to cheat? Analyze the motivation in providing a game in the first place: $$$$$. What else is there? Now eliminate all the bruised egos of the players who choose not to cheat and get back to the reasoning on both sides of the fence....the owners of the platform and the players who cheat to gain game advantage. Both provide a positive outcome for the individuals involved and, due to basic human nature and need, these things just won't go away. Does it make sense to coddle up to the players who complain because they cannot possibly keep up with the bot runners? Absolutely not! I don't like the bot runners, but I am sure that there is no motivation from BP or the cheaters that is sufficient to do something different. Rather than design some infallible program to 'stop the bot'...I think BP should just issue bot programs to all players...thusly, leveling the playing field. BUT...and this is a big but....this may have the effect of alienating the players who do run bots and chancing that they decide to take their cheating ass $$$ elsewhere... It is a no win situation for the players who do not cheat. I think the only viable solution is for BP to make some little improvements to the game and ignore the bot runners and the complaints they generate from the other players. Change up the packages so they are not so redundant....who needs 8 million chains of speed? LoL Obviously, BP would rather not provide the minimal changes that may require any work on their part...so keep expectations low...very, very, low... :)...but it might work to the advantage of BP on the $ side of the game...as some other players have pointed out, why spend money on a package when 75% of the package is redundant. In my opinion, there are several easy things the famous "developers" could do to make some positive changes to the game without jeopardizing their income stream.

I think this might be the most sensible thing I have ever read on the forum. It is well reasoned, economically sound, and not whining like a little girl.

If bp really wanted to stop the cheaters...all they have to do is place the weight of what you can carry on each boat...like they had a long time ago....when i started to play you could not carry millions of cannon balls on the boat...it would sink...or be very slow....at that time there were no bots....

  11. But what kind of weigth do you think they should put in? I remember also that the ship got sinked or was sailing very slow if you had to much Gold Ammo? At least if you did not collected enough speedpoints...But now at days there not many who shoot with Gold Ammo..

But the Flare ammo was weightless...Maybe all Elite Ammo was wieghtless.. Im not sure. But I do know that everything with "Gold" was a heavy weight for the ships..

Or simply just do as on battle of sea, seafight can add an auto box that appair and need confirm "im not a robot". Personal I will be very carefull with talk the loudest now on forum, for not look stupid later on. But what i reeeeaaaaally want is to get rid of the auto lock pretend braveheart's "warrior's", who think they suddenly now are good at fight's as they use BOOOOT now to fight !!! The rest I dont give a flying s*it about, but its getting more of these clown's with auto lock. Clowns really belong on circus, not in a pirate game.

Hi -Mr.Eyüp-, what you propose I've been saying for several years but replace the texst with a random code that keeps changing. And certainly as you cite those fights b ots are too much to it. Sometimes it seems more like a bullying game rather than a pirate game. If the will is there, one can certainly do something about it gr Raf
