What buff is being applied, without knowing how can we comment?
3 days for caught cheating , not even a weeks ban!
No penalty applied to event ranking so they keep their cheating rewards!

You are right to give them a debuff. if you ban all cheaters forever you ban almost all your players. If I was the one who punished the cheaters all of them would have debuff and the debuff would be more punishing. It's not hard to see if the players are players or bots. you have no idea how annoying it is when your "allies" are stealing your npc's and you cant even sink them because they are "allies" but atleast you are doing something (maybe) you have let the cheaters dominate your game for years, time to fix it...

 

Yeah lets profit like crazy for a year, oh i cant play 3 days whatever lets wait huh? This must be a joke. Is that even a punishment???

 

... at the end of the event reset their points to zero then give out the rewards.
Create a code that only 'honest' players can redeem to help them level up.

 

this should be implement at the start of each of event, for the duration of the event

 

This 'so called de-buff punishment ' is a sick joke! Too little and about 6/8 years too late.
If you have the knowledge of the cheats and autopilot users that you state you have, have the courage to ban them for at least 6 months and reduce their ships to zero % across all aspects of the game and any of that IP address account o their return!
Also publish the ship and guild name on the main page under 'news' it may shame one or two of them - but I doubt it ...

 

wdym man this is such a brutal punishment,after 3 days of torment im sure they wont ever use any kind of third party app ever again!

 

looooool 3 days ... what a joke ... if u caught them why not strip them to peanut that is no punishment a 3 days debuff

This has to be a joke ? What about the honest players who are trying to compete during events fighting etc with cheating players ? Do the rule breakers get to keep everything they amassed ? The core issues still remain. The game will never be what it could be unless management gets serious about rule breaking.

If "If" you can detect them then 3 days is a slap in the face for the people that are keeping this game running with there hard earned cash.

 

Seen 30 day bans and some perm bans and come right back doing it again 3 days want change their minds but good try. Lets see how long it takes Riff times will be back under 15 minutes for 30 waves in no time!

 

pathetic joke dont ban DELETE all bot accounts.

 

do this at least for minimum 1 month or so, 3 days is a joke. after that they just do it again.

havent seen many botusers with debuff, they are still out there without debuff

 

lets just be perfectly clear here, they are not applying the debuff to punish the bot users, they are applying it because they've had too many complaints this month so they have got to look like they are doing something (regardless of how little) so that it looks like they care (which they don't) so that players are more likely to keep spending money on this dead game.

So they are quite literally doing it for a business perspective and not really for the fact they care about their players.

Now, you can keep moaning xD
