global 8 hybrid server

ok, how are some players able to shoot at my ship and sink me when the server is on pve mode and i have 100% not activated pvp mode and should be immune from enemy fire?
it appears theres some kind of bug or exploit being applied to pve mode, unless there is something else i am unaware of.. it was only a matter of time i suppose .

yet if i target a player and attempt to fire it tells me pve is active and i cannot shoot... so players can shoot me but i cant fire back???

Upon reviewing this issue I can with confidence say that the PvE and PvP modes are working as intended.

I have forwarded this as well just in case there have been any issues.

Please remember once using any item such as Brother in Arms your PvP status is activated and only being sunk can put you back into a PvE state.

thankyou for the reply rymar, however i can assure you, as a very experienced player of almost 15 years that i know exactly how the pve/pvp modes work, and what deactivates pve etc, and how to regain it, I also play on the ultra server and also on global 7 as well as global 8, i was definitely in pve mode when i was fired at, i had activated no item that breaks pve.. yes the pve/pvp modes may well be working correctly under normal circumstances, like i said, i was in pve mode and was unable to fire myself at players who were/are in pve mode. my concern is that it appears there may be an exploit being used here as i know 100% that there was no possible way that i should have been shot at but clearly as you can see, i was, there is no mistake here on my part i can assure you, keep an eye on this as im sure you will be hearing more similar incidents.

 

My apologies for the delay in response to you, as stated previously I have forwarded this to be reviewed, however we had no further reports regarding the PvP protection not working correctly within the global 8 server.

Since there is no further response I'll close this thread.
