Ablative plates and cannon ironsights

Helloo i have a question
Is it worth to buy the ablative plates when u have the highest level ribs and ravens?
And another question about the cannon iron sights
For a small player is it worth buying this or invest in the best cannons the game has to offer right now?

Are you aware of Relative and Absolute values that apply to every extension?

Ablative Plating can be mixed with anything and will always provide you with the same damage prevention % while ribs will decrease the % if you mix it with anything else.

So yeah, I would recommend purchasing Ablative Plating.

Cannon Ironsights? Hmm on higher level (when you are close to max) yeah why not, but in lower state personally I would pass on them.

I kinda know what the words mean but i have a problem implementing it in my ship. To be honest dutch is my main language so i sometimes get stuck when people use English
So in same line as my first question
What would’ve been a good combination to use the ablative plates with? I have the highest level ribs and highest level raven on some of my ships

What would be best? Well do you care about the amount of Hitpoints on you ship?

Yes - stick to Ablative Plating only
No - Mix Chains of speed (faster reload time) with Ablative Plating (damage prevention)​

If you are trying to find out what would be best for events mix a bit of your Ravens with Ablative Plating's that set provide your ship with a bit of Dodge Chance (from ravens) and full damage prevention bonus from Ablative Plating's (but reduced HP bonus).

Ribs are okay as long as you do not mix anything with them (then you have max dmg. prevention bonus applied to your ship).

Ablative planting provide you with certain % to HP and % to your damage prevention.

The more Ablative Platings the more damage prevention you've got.

1 Ablative Plating = 100% more HP +1% damage prevention (these values differ for different levels)
2 Ablative Platings = 100% more HP +2% damage prevention​
