    I have a really dumb question and I'm sorry for asking this, what would be the best set up for cannons when in PvE mood when shooting Npc's..... I know I'm a noob but hey I can admit it.........

    Ahoy -PUSAT-!

    There are no dumb questions.

    True pirate should have 3 set of cannons:

    - Thunderbolts for PvP and PvE
    - Bastions for PvE (solo / most damage on big NPCs)
    - Overlords L6 for Marauder Days (due to PvP BPs bonus)

    So as you can see above a set of Thunderbolts and Bastions would be best for PvE, but everything depends on what are you trying to do.

    What do you use (have) as your extensions if you don't mind me asking? Do you have them set correctly for PvE?

    I used to have mostly bastions on my npc setting, with a few overlords thrown in to lower the overall reload time. But I was surprised to find out that having all bastions (I use Level 6s and 5s) makes my sentinel timer last until about "60". It doesn't take long for my sentinel to recycle that way. So you might want to consider that as well.

    Thanks D.C ill try that out too i been messing around trying to find that sweet spot

    lol right Rymar... I'm bad, I got sunk a Trakus, as for extensions I'm still trying to work that out I use lvl6 Ribs only but I have plenty of other things to use I'm still reading up on all the new stuff I haven't used, any suggestions would be appreciated

    Playing with full set of ribs without mixing would be best for now (highest dmg. prev.) unless you can put it more than 20 Ablative Platings on L5+ on your boat, then dmg. prev. will be little bit lower but you'd gain a lot of HP which is also important.

    I personally run a full set of Ablative Platings + Def. pet + Aventurine special ship gem, that set works perfect, especially in maps 51+
