A Storm of Sharks​

The event starts at Thursday, 3rd April at 12 noon and ends Wednesday, 9th April at 12 noon.

All times are local server times.

A Storm of Sharks features the following:

• Limited Currency Mechanic
• Event Completion
• Event Chests and Atlantis Event Chests
• Shipwrecks and Atlantis Shipwrecks
• Event Quests
• Event Ranking

General Info

You need to hunt sharks that are appearing in Nautica.

From these sharks, you can obtain a currency called “Mutant Shark Eggs”.

Sharks are only available for a limited amount of time and Mutant Sharks Eggs are available only during that time.

As players loot more Mutant Shark Eggs the less interested the sharks will be, and therefore you’ll find fewer of them on the water.

Once the hunting phase has ended, you can trade the Mutant Shark Eggs for rewards at 3 different traders whom will each spawn in a random Safe Haven.

These traders are offering you quests that are used to trade the currency for rewards.

Of course, you can steal Mutant Shark Eggs from your fellow players too! The amount of Eggs you can steal from a player depends on various factors, the longer the are in-game the higher the amount you can steal, while you are offline this multiplier decreases.
Mutant Shark Eggs can spoil however, so unfortunately, every so often all players will lose a percentage of their collected eggs.

Worry not though, every player has a minimum amount that cannot be lost, so you will never be completely out of those Sweet Dragon Eggs!

Note: If you have over 1,000 Mutant Shark Eggs you will be unable to activate the Aura of Protection, likewise, if you already have it activated and gain more than 1,000 Mutant Shark Eggs, you will lose your Aura of Protection.

Also within this event you can find one NPC Progeny Alpha and Krakaton.

Progeny Alpha spawns within the Atlantis Maps 1/1 - 4/2.

A group of Krakaton’s also spawn within the Atlantis Maps 1/1 - 4/2 every so-often.

Trades

You are finding the different quest givers on safe havens where they are spawning, the higher level areas of safe havens have different traders.

You need to hand in the Mutant Shark Eggs to get some nice rewards.

Each of the three Traders offer differing rewards.

Most are repeatable every cycle, some of the better rewards, are repeatable less often.

NPCs

• Progreny Alpha
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad coins or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will receive Pearls, Homing Mine, Poseidon’s Circlet or Inferno Torpedoes.
  • The player who inflicts the last shot (at least 1%), will receive Blood of the Inya, Tritons Crown, Homing Mine, Dragonfire lv2, Whirlpool, Inferno Torpedoes or Toxic Torpedoes
• Krakaton (Admiral)
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad coins or Orichalkum.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage and has at least 1 event points will receive Orichalkum, Inferno Torpedo, Toxic Torpedo, Sand of time, Recklessness, Dragonfire lv2 or Dragon Powder.
  • The player who inflicts the last shot (at least 1%), will receive Orichalkum.
• Mutant Shark
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Mutant Shark Eggs.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage (at least 1%) and has at least 1 event point will receive Yulong, Safanad or Orichalkum.
• Rabid Mutant Shark
  • Depending on how much damage you have inflicted, you are rewarded with EXP and Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Mutant Shark Eggs.
  • The player who inflicts the most damage (at least 1%) and has at least 1 event point will receive Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Megalodon’s Black-Maw Ship Design (Fallback: Yulong)

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items like Ignis Ammunition, Simbi/Taureau Amulets, Blood of the Inya, Dragonfire lv 2, Poseidon’s Crowns, Bastion lv 6, Overlord lv 6, Mojo and many more.

Atlantis Treasure Chests

In the Atlantis Treasure Chests you find many useful items, like Inferno Torpedoes, Simbi/Taureau Amulets, Big Atlantean Booty Bag, Super Armor Plates, Mojo and many more.

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. In the Shipwreck, you find many useful items, like Ignis Ammunition, Dragonfire lv2, Super Armor Plates, Dragon Powder, Bastion lv 4 and many more.

Atlantis Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. In the Shipwreck, you find many useful items, like Inferno Torpedoes, Super Armor Plates, Dragonfire lv 2, Mako/Amarax/Mombu lv2 and Zorax lv 3 Blueprint Blueprint and many more.

Quests

• Nautica:
  • There will be 3 quests (2 normal and 1 repeatable every 12 hours)
• Atlantis:
  • There will be 3 normal quests

The daily quests are reset each day at 12:00 noon and 23:59 (local server time).

Ammunition

Ignis ammunition and Inferno Torpedoes cause much more damage than other ammunition and torpedoes against the event ships and submarines.

Post Event Compensation

The Event Keys are exchanged for normal chest keys, Atlantis event keys for Atlantis chest keys, Mutant Shark Eggs for Pearls and Event points for Ignis Ammunitions.​
