Rift Map Changed Again?

    I just went into the Rift map and I was hitting only 50k with explosive ammo. I usually hit ~350-400k in there. I played it about a week ago and a few other times since it was changed, but today 7-8 times less damage. I am comparing my same preset. I may have a few less cannons as some of my decks expired, but 10 or 20 cannons can't change it that much.

    Ahoy Bawdyn!

    There were no changes to the RIFT map.

    Please check your Sellsword as low hit probability within rift can cause decrease in damage.

    I'm using my Defence preset with the Guardian. This is the same setup I used the previous times (before and after the changes). I did go back in with my Attack preset with a sellsword and was hitting what I would have expected, but took too much damage to get past wave 17. Last week I got to the mid 20s more than once with my defence preset and as mentioned hit 350-400 vs the 50 I hit yesterday. My hit probability is 136% with this preset.

    Ahoy Bawdyn!

    As previously stated there were no recent changes to RIFT, there must be something set differently on your ship or perhaps some buff finished as I am doing rift twice a day and I do not see any difference at all.

    Bawdyn - for what it's worth - the Sellswords are messed up. My level 3 guy right now is giving me 571 cannons. He has 14 minutes of life left. I logged out and back in to verify this. So I placed my level 2 guy on (less cannons), and my total went HIGHER - to what it should normally be at that level - 611 cannons. Then I put on my level 5 Sellsword and got 641 cannons (30 cannons more from level 2 to level 5, which is correct). These glitches make troubleshooting almost impossible! By the way, after typing this, I went back and logged out and back in, and it's still the same numbers - *including* the level 3 guy having 14 minutes of life *still remaining*, which can't be! So *then* I logged out/in *again*, and now the level 3 guy has died. If this is another "display error", what can we do? They just refuse to fix them. In summary, I doubt you are "imagining" the problem, mate. The most likely answer to what I just experienced is that the level 3 guy died sometime ago, yet it still showed he was alive. The 571 cannon total I mentioned above is what I normally have with *no Sellsword*. You probably noticed long ago that the "active" crew members are supposed to be "lit up", and the "inactive" ones are "faded out". But this changed long ago (probably due to poor maintenance), and often you just can't tell. On my sub, my crew members often show up as being "in storage". I have to log out and back in to see them appear correctly.

    @The*Defiant - I see a lot of the same visual problems. With the 'so much life left' one I think that gets set when you open the client and doesn't change even if you logout. You have to close the sea and open it again to get real updates to that.

    In my case, this is my Defence preset with the Guardian, not the Sellsword that is messed up. Last week with that preset it was 'normal' for that preset, hitting 350-400k in the first several waves. This week it's hitting 50k. I could see that if something expired that it could drop some from the 350k, but dropping to 50k seems like a bigger issue than that. It's almost like it was treating the explosive ammo like hollows. The 50k was on the first wave where their HP is over 50k (wave 4?) which has the pretty low strength NCP.

    EDIT: I did some testing. In waves 4-~10 the damage seemed consistent. These are normal hits not Critical ones:
    Explosive - 50k
    Explosive with Hailstorms - 70k
    Rift Ammo - 350-380
    Rift with Hailstorms - 400-420

    So I'm getting similar with Rift ammo as I was getting with Explosive. I usually do the first waves with explosive to save the rift ammo, but I guess that is no longer an option. I still stand by last week I didn't have this problem.
