Wrath Of Calypso - Charybdis Rising

    The event starts at
Thursday, 19th February at 12 noon and ends Tuesday, 3rd March at 12:00 noon.

All times are local server times.

Charybdis Rising event features the following:

    • Event Ships and Subs
    • Nautica and Atlantis chest and shipwrecks
    • Event market
    • Quests
    • Event completion rewards
    • Event ranking
    • Ship and Submarine Design
    General Info

During the event, you can hunt event NPCS such as Ghost Ship, Suspicious Vessel, Siren, Tentacled Fiend, Calypso and Spawn of Calypso on maps 5 – 60 and 2 event submarines Delphin and Triton.

Siren can cast a special Sirens Singing zone which infatuates all players who are standing inside this zone. Due to this infatuation, you temporarily lose control of your ship and it moves around randomly for 10 seconds.

Although you cannot shoot whilst being infatuated, you can use all of your Action items. You can use the Action Items “Unstoppable” or “Blood of the Inya” to break free from this infatuation.

If a player enters the Sirens Singing zone, it is repealed for a short time.

After a certain time, or as her health goes down, the zone gets triggered again, eventually getting bigger until it is finally too big for even the most far reaching cannons to shoot from outside the zone!

Therefore, a player has to sacrifice himself and sail into the zone so that it disappears temporarily.

Calypso spawns with a certain chance when Tentacled Fiend gets sunk

Calypso has a huge amount of hit points and is accompanied by four Tentacles.

These Tentacles keep respawning as Calypso’s hit points get reduced.

As soon as Calypso is sunk, all remaining Tentacles disappear.

When Calypso is sunk, she has a chance to spawn the Spawn of Calypso, which has Spawn’s Tenril that act in the same behaviour as the Calypso’s Tentacles.

All event ships must be shot with elite ammunition.
    Charybdis’ Maw

After reaching a certain amount of points by killing Calypso Tentacle, Siren, Ghost Ship, Tentacle Fiend, or Penelope, Charybdis’ Maw will spawn.

Charybdis’ Maw is positioned at the center of the area and cannot be killed.

Surrounding it, Charybdis’ Riches and Charybdis Tentacles will spawn. Tentacles can be destroyed and are immune to any pull effects.

When a player gets close enough to Charybdis’ Maw, it opens and a pull area effect appears.

At the same time, the player’s ship is affected by a speed-reducing debuff.

While the pull is active, the player completely loses control of the ship and is forcibly dragged toward the Maw.

After a short time, the pull deactivates, and the player regains control but must manually click to redirect movement.

The pull effect will reactivate again after some time.

As long as the ship remains within the affected area, it continues to move more slowly and will drift toward the center if not redirected.

All Ships entering the area—except Charybdis Tentacles—are pulled inward. Any ship that reaches Charybdis’ Maw is instantly destroyed.

The goal is to collect all Charybdis’ Riches. Charybdis’ Maw remains active until all Riches have either been collected or despawned.
