Feedback Wrath Of Calypso - Charybdis Rising

Maybe @Rymar meant this event item? I can confirm that the Calypso Tentacles give Ectoplasm.

 

@Rymar - I used your method on the tentacles and it worked. The new odds of getting the event item are an improvement.

The Charybdis is another matter. I've teleported in to the maps several times, but only twice saw it. One I got close enough to get drawn in to my destruction. I saw no tentacles around it. Do you have a method for getting them? They really don't last long enough to do anything with them.

Yes, this quest item can be obtained from Calypso Tentacle - there is only one requirement, you need to have quest for this item active while shooting these NPCs.

When it comes to Chyrabdis you should use the "view" preset. (Telescope Castle + Larimar 5% Range of Vision on pet special gem)

This will allow you to see a bit further than normal making it a bit easier to lock on tentacles. As always make sure you run Windstorm Books and don't be afraid of being pulled in - as first pull do not mean you'll get sunk (you need to move away to avoid the second pull).

If you saw no tentacles around it that mean all of them were already defeated - tentacles do not respawn once killed.

You could also run a Genie with Celerity and/or Hour Glass to increase your movement speed - so you can be there a bit sooner.

Personally I had few of them appearing in the same map I was in, and I also teleported to a few whenever I could.

I do the missions (1 under sea and 1 above) every day but i can't find it. Anyone an idea ?
