    We can buy them in the 20th Birthday event, but yet we can't use them???

    Hello there Pirate,

    This scenario is often the case, You may remember recently the ability to obtain level 6 Thunderbolt recipes which initially could not be used but now of course they can be.
    Obtaining such items is obviously a choice, It is usually only a matter of a short time before these things become active, the previously mentioned cannons is a classic example.

    It is pretty annoying to buy them, and then find out they can't be used until....? But that said, thank you Mr-Amber.
