First Shot Range Survey​

Ahoy Pirates,

As mentioned last week, we would have a survey to allow you to provide your feedback on the First Shot Range, this survey is now live.

You can find the poll when you log in. It will continue to appear each time you log in until the poll has ended or you have submitted a response, so everyone has a chance to share their feedback.

The survey will run until the morning of Friday the 5th.

First Shot Range Survey​

Ahoy Pirates,

Thank you to everyone who took part in the First Shot Range survey.

The results showed that 55% of players voted to remove First Shot Range and restore the old system. While this was not a one-sided result, it does give us a clear direction.

Our goal with updates like this is to improve the game for as many players as possible. In this case, First Shot Range did not achieve that, so we will be removing it. We appreciate everyone who shared their feedback.

Alongside this, we also want to confirm a few related updates:

• Thunderstorms will remain in the game, but their effect will be adjusted to -10% Hit Probability. This makes them less punishing than Windstorms, which remain at -15% Hit Probability.
• Bombardier will also be replaced with a new crew member called Yarn Spinner. Yarn Spinner will increase the maximum number of quests you can have active at one time.

These changes will take affect this morning with our upcoming sync. Thank you again for voting and sharing your thoughts.
