Feedback Pirate Cup - Ocean Champs

They are in ROK. they have 25m HP and with my wimpy cannons most of the ones I shot at were stolen. Took forever and a ton of ammo (that for some reason is hard to get)... then found that the next quest is to sink 6 more.

 

For "event completion", I'm shooting the "Short-Term Goal" npcs, which I've found on the regular Seachart.

 

I played one round of the "Horde Survival" map yesterday. It did pay me 5 puzzle pieces (if I counted correctly), which was great. But I was in there about 19 minutes before I got blown out. That's a good bit of time and effort with so many puzzle pieces left to obtain, the rare and epic pieces being expensive, and time running out.

Lava Ammunition can be also crafted within the Crafting Menu by using Destiled Magma.

10 Destiled Magma = 25 000 Lava Ammunition

Destiled Magma can be obtained from most of the NPCs included within ROK.

Correct, the quest state "Win" not "Finish" therefore an actual win is required to complete this quest.

1. Logbook don't need to inform you if you wont or lost - this can be already seen as notification at the top of the screen and the reward amount is much much lower than when you actually win
2. I'd recommend that you play the group maps with your friends or active players rather than random ones - if you wish you can report such behaviour to Support
3. There is nothing wrong with repair button at our end - if you found an issue please contact Support

Hey Rymar - you are the best, but my still uncompleted quest reads "Successfully Finish 1x Domination Arena" I understand now that you have to win, but that is not explained well on the quest.

 

As one example - take the "Rumble" map, which does not ever tell us if we were the "last pirate standing" (or not). I had to ask, and found that when you win 150 tokens, then you have won. We shouldn't have to ask; it should show in our Logbook. Why doesn't it? Little things like this - conveying important information to the players - would not only help us, but make your job - as a moderator fielding a lot of questions - much easier.

 

In the "Domination Arena", looking at the scoreboard, how do we determine which team we are on? (I'm sorry, but it isn't obvious). I know we are trying to kill 3 wolves, but killing other players gives us points too, yet how do I know who my team members are, and what side I am on??? If I try to shoot the wrong player, I'm told they are in my faction, but I lost time locking on the wrong target. (As I was typing this, I was waiting in the queue, checking frequently. Then I checked, and got a message my team lost? What? I didn't go in)! I am still trying to complete it once. Also, I waited in the queue for over 45 minutes without getting in, and it was not at an odd time.

 

I'm doing the long terms for the quests only. If this quest to sink 6 of them is the last quest in the line, then I'll likely skip it. If there's more then I'll push on.

I haven't really noticed an increase either. I've got 90% of my pieces from buying them with the weekly cursed purchase. I've got designs from boarding, but I don't recall any puzzle pieces.

That's good info, I didn't know that.

I will do that, but as I've said before, I wish they could leave ROK and group maps out of the completion entirely.

About Lava ammunition
Why can't I find this in the crafting menu? I can craft Titans, but the lava bullets aren't there. Can someone check this?

This would really help me make progress.

I am so confused here... what else but "Win" does Successfully Finish mean? You can't successfully lose right? Or am I no understanding something here at all

Try to join several queue and eventually you'll win for sure, just don't give up!

The Rumble is with us for over a year now and it never had logbook entry included as you can see within the map on which place you are in (how many players are left within the map).

It was simply designed to be this way, however your feedback has been noted and will be forwarded.

There are two separate teams, RED and BLUE, both have different ship designs set by the system you should should easily tell them apart.

In order for this option to become available you need to own Lava Ammunition Crafting Recipe which can be obtained for Jormungandr one of the "bosses" within the ROK.

Right now on a beginner level I do recommend doing some quests so you can unlock ROK-2 where you can find Valkyrie - these pay about 3-4 Hacksilver which will allow you to purchase additional ammunition from market and let you move forward.

I personally recommend all of you to NOT ignore the ROK completely as you can see some event completions may require access to certain maps / NPCs.

The chances for a normal player to get the recipe without running out of ammo is basically 0.

 

I also have had this happen, we could not tell who was who! We again lost this one too. Absolutely unacceptable, this is a game. My feedback.

 

Where do you get these ROK quests anyway? I hate this extra map stuff - too much junk in the game. It's hard enough to try and build a decent boat in Nautica without having to worry about starting all over again in this world as well as dealing with Atlantis. Making ROK (what does that even stand for, anyway?) part of the event in order to force us to play it is stupid. I don't go there unless forced, as in now. It was real nice too when you added Hacksilver to the cost of adding more weapons slots to your boat. I was within 8 of completion and all of sudden you moved the goalposts again. Hacksilver, incredibly hard to accumulate, is another way to FORCE us into ROK. Terrible.
Also, I agree with all the others here, WAY too many Group map requirements in the event. 15 times you have to win the Domination Arena? Really?? Impossible. I haven't got a single one yet. Other team members just sit there and don't do anything, same with the soccer arena (which is the most horrible of the group maps, impossible to win as for some reason all the other team's boats can push the ball no matter what I do - and I have the Large soccer fever item). BTW - I don't have "friends" to ask, I'm a single person player. Devs are being true spoilers here - they never listen to the players about this issue. We ALL are against it - just read the comments. Why am I spending money here when you people do not listen, or don't you guys want my cash anymore? My input. Thanks.
