Atlantis: Admiral respawn

I need some clarification on how the admiral respawn points work.

Example: Map 3/2
Admiral Lancet Ramrod
Spawn Requirement: Appears after collecting 80 Points (admiral rage)
by sinking:
Devil Centurion +1 Admiral rage point
Bigeye Overlord +1 Admiral rage point
Armatus Tempest +2 Admiral rage points
Galatine Enigma +2 Admiral rage points

vs.

Admiral Galatine Enigma
Spawn Requirement: Appears after collecting 80 Points (admiral rage)
by sinking:
Armatus Tempest +1 Admiral rage point
Galatine Enigma +1 Admiral rage point
Devil Centurion +2 Admiral rage points
Bigeye Overlord +2 Admiral rage points

While shooting Devil Centurion and Bigeye Overlord, it took 4 (four!!) Admiral Galatine Enigma spawns to spawn a Admiral Lancet Ramrod.
-> Do the points collected towards an admiral spawn get reset to zero every time one spawns, or how does this work?!
I am still confused about this (and frankly, it is rather annoying (like that old bug of the healing-thing not working at times when one is breached) )

Both admirals require 80 points - so you need to defeat NPCs listed above to gain points towards the admiral.

Once a full 80 points are collected the admiral will spawn. Please be aware that admiral may spawn in a different map - for example you are in 4/2 and it spawn in 3/2 as the player who gained the "final" points was in such map - and yes once admiral spawn the points drop to 0, this is completely normal.
