I'm curious about the ammo used;
> the FAQ clearly says any "any elite ammo"

Every FAQ state to use elite ammunition, which mean you can't use gold ammo like hollows on NPCs.

Our FAQ clearly state that Voodoo Doom deal more damage against event NPCs - please take a closer look.

Things always change, but here in the game, they’re changing for the worse. The chance to earn designs through damage dealt or by landing the final shot is gone; the black market is terrible; orichalcum payouts are practically non-existent; and the designs themselves—honestly, they look like recycled trash and are just plain ugly. In short, the changes have all been for the worse. Just wanted to share my feedback.

you have to play all day to make 500 mil to katrahena and if you are lucky because they hit it about 200 ships lol

I disagree, I've done my event completion with limited play time so it is possible, yes Cartagena is going down quite quickly but you shouldnt have any problems doing it if you didn't start just now.

i play less than 1 hour a day and finish every event completion on every event with alot of extra time so like rymar said it is possible

 

I'd have to agree with the harshness of getting Carthagena damage in.
in the 3 days I've attempted it (~10 hours game time), I barely have 200M... it's a super extremely madly annoying (solution: use /many/ auras of protection, otherwise just sail up to the npc to get sunk) imma just ragequit for a couple hours and try again.

otherwise, this is a very sound event. good for completing season achievements.
