Shadows Over Nautica​

The event starts at Friday, October 23rd at 12:00 noon and ends Wednesday, November 11th at 12 noon.

The event starts at 12:00 noon on 23rd October and ends at 12:00 noon on 11th November.

It will feature the Abyss of Shadow, Mouth of Madness (Zoth Dragon) Raid Map, Phosphorescent Volcano and Catalyst Chamber, Phantom Labyrinth and Circle of Salt.

Faction Choice

You can join either the Zealots or the Medics.

Over the course of the event you'll fight the Cursed as well as the opposing faction's forces.

Note: In order to get any rewards from the event ships, you must have completed the first quest.

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests, you find many useful items, like Pumpkin ammunitions, Pyre Ammunitions, Taureau/Simbi Amulet, Dragonfire lv 2, Teleportation, Pumpkin Power, Thunderbolt lv 4, Thunderbolt level 5/6 recipes, Blood of the Inya, Mojo and many other useful items.

Atlantis Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests, you find many useful items, like Pumpkin Torpedo, Stormforce, Uncommon/Common/Rare Tools, Taureau Amulet, Bloodlust, Sub Technician/Operator/Engineer/ Cook Lv 2, Mako/Amarax/Mombu Lv6 Blueprint and many other useful items.

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. Items such as Pumpkin ammunition, Coated Armor plates, Dragon powder, Hailstorm, Crystals, Thunderbolt Lv2/Lv3, Dragonfire Lv2 and other items.

Atlantis Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. Items such as Pumpkin Torpedo, Super Armor plates, Poseidon’s Crown, Dragonfire Lv2, Common/Uncommon Tools, Mako/Amarax/Mombu Lv5 Blueprint and other items.

Ammunition

Pyre Ammo, Pumpkin Ammunition and Pumpkin Torpedo cause much more damage against the event ships and subs.

Quests

• From October 23rd

The daily quests are reset each day at 12 noon (local server time).

Abyss of Shadow - Single Player Map

To access the Abyss of Shadow map, players must use the Shadow Guide item.

You will then be teleported to the Abyss Hub. Upon entering, all players have the same statistics and action items are disabled, except those linked to this feature.

Once in the hub, you can go to the portal, then click on the Portal Gate. You will then enter the Abyss of Shadow map

On the hub map, you can also accept map quests from Jack Hawk.

Players will have access to three companions when entering the map, each offering unique abilities:

• Agoje Mino ("Fighting Companion"): Unlocked from the start, Agoje focuses on attacking NPCs and dealing damage. He uses rockets every 30-60 seconds and follows the behavior pattern
• Nadira Boro ("Healing Companion"): Unlock with currency. Nadira spawns area-of-effect (AoE) abilities heals the player with small amounts of health per second.
• Daniel Agawe ("Damage Companion"): Unlockable with currency, Daniel spawns area-of-effect (AoE) abilities that damage NPCs.

Once unlocked, companions automatically join the player in runs. For specific stats, refer to the NPC table.

You can purchase stackable buffs for your ship and your companions.

Buffs, up to three per companion, are stackable and resettable (you will get 50% of the buff coins back).

The map features Fog of War mechanics, where enemies are weaker in the light.

You can use lamp oils to extend visibility. Running out of oil leaves players vulnerable in darkness, but oil can be replenished from loot.

Each wave is harder and is offering progressively better loot from NPCs.

Players must defeat a set number of NPCs to summon the admiral, whose defeat opens an exit portal to the next map.

With each run and level, the difficulty ramps up as NPCs become stronger.

After leaving the map, you can add companions and get them buff by using the currency Shadow Marks that you get as a loot.

You can end the map by dying, leaving or disconnecting.

This will bring you back to the Dungeon Hub.

Whenever you go back to the Abyss Hub, you will begin from map 1, when you enter the dungeon again.

Phantom Labyrinth - Mini Game

Once you have collected enough Ancient Emblems you are able to access the “Phantom Labyrinth” map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Captain Ravenbeard.

Your view range is drastically reduced on the “Phantom Labyrinth” map, where you find 4 npcs, one Boss and some moving zones which deal damage to you.

The goal is to kill the Boss, but before you can attack the Boss you have to find and kill the 4 npcs.

Phosphorescent Volcano

The “Phosphorescent Volcano” feature works like the same Volcano feature we had in the past, but with a new cool and nice-looking green glow.

The Volcano will spawn NPCs which can be attacked. Pumpkin Ammo, Phosphor Ammo and Pumpkin Torpedo will deal increased damage.

It spawns between the October 29th and November 11th during certain time slots which lasts between 3-6 hours.

Circle of Salt - Group Map

You can join the group maps by speaking to Captain Ravenbeard on the Safe Haven.

He will offer you two versions of the groupmap, Bloody Battle and Brutal Battle; both of these have the same mechanics however the Brutal Battle is an easier version.

Within the map, your group of four will encounter Y’kanin, who will constantly move towards players in your group.

Your goal is to defeat Y’kanin, however, this will not be easy.

Y'kanin attacks players and when close to you will trap you with a whirlpool.

Being close to Y’kanin has another downfall, with every piece of damage inflicted to you Y’kanin will regain some of the hitpoints it has lost!

So keep your distance pirates!

The map ends when Y’kanin has been defeated or all players have been killed.

Post Event Compensation

The Event and Atlantis Keys are exchanged for normal and Atlantis chest keys.

The Pumpkin/ Spider/Bone essences, Dungeon Hub Teleporter and Event Points will be exchanged for Pumpkin ammunition.

Shadow Marks will be exchanged for Yulong Coins.​
