"Vanishing" ships in PvP

    I had two different players almost sunk tonight, and each time their ship (not sub) just "vanished". I'm pretty certain an npc didn't sink them. Is there a way to do this now? Also - I did have my graphic setting on "boost". If some other player sank them, would my "boost" setting make it look like this? Thank you.

    Hello there Pirate,

    Indeed yes, the most likely explanation for what you experienced here is that you were shooting at a player, as was another player at the same time (most likely beyond your view) and as you have boost enabled then the shots fired at the target from the secondary player would not be visible to yourself and if this other player shooting at the same target as yourself gets the 'sinking shot' then it would appear that your target quite literally vanished.
