My point was it makes no sense in Seafight to have a quest (or any task) that cannot possibly be completed, regardless of it's importance to the overall event. Also, completing all event quests sometimes opens up "secret quests", although probably not in this case.

Questions: Where does it say that the Phantom Labyrinth will close in two days? And is there any other way to earn ancient emblems? I shot a white event npc recently that paid me 5 ancient emblems (see below), but those ships have vanished from the water. And my logbook doesn't show the npc's name. At 50 bone essences per ancient emblem, and a progressively increasing cost, the Phantom Labyrinth map gets costly fast!

A few days ago, Rymar said the ghostly-type ship that gave us extra ancient emblems would disappear, so yeah, they're gone. When I heard that, I got as much as I could to finish that labyrinth map, so I don't have to massacre myself to earn and buy ancient emblems from the market, but I don't know why SF does that; something useful they should keep till the event ends, but well, SF is SF as usual, maybe they bring it back later to finish the event.

There is no info about this map being removed, I believe that players confuse the mini game with shop banned "Phantom Labyrinth".

Ancient Emblems can be obtained only via the in-game market.

During actual Halloween we had Lady Lovibonds and Caluche NPCs included (as in every year) which provided additional chance to obtain some Ancient Emblems, but since Halloween itself ended so did the NPCs.

With each and every upgrade your companions are getting stronger, so yes the buffs stacks.

The "ghostly-type" NPCs as you just called them visit us every halloween for as long as I play the game , I do recall them from the past so I knew (and I was right!) they will eventually dissapear.

It was just a small addition to celebrate the actual date of halloween.

But as I’ve written here before, this translation programme that I’m forced to use is very cleverly designed and persistently tries to advertise itself. Your are not forced to do anything.. noone Is forcing you to put anything here... However there are many sites that doesnt force any ads on you.. likes google translator or aby normal AI likes Gemini or chatgpt... So Its really just your poor choice.
