In the information for playing Atlantis it states: "You can have different types of torpedoes equipped in different slots, and the order in which they reload might mean you wish to place certain torpedoes in an earlier slot than a later one."

However, all of the torpedos have a reload time of 4 seconds. What am I missing?

    Its a bit misleading...
Imagine you are a shooting a ship with x hp, you want to sink them fast, so you equip the first 3 launchers with decent high damage torps, the last 3 with low damage, so for a full 'broadside' the last 3 are launched, but the target is sunk, so you have only wasted 3 rubbish torps.
For pvp you may want to 'stun' with the first and most damage with the others.

    Ahoy The*Defiant!

Base time for torpedo reload time is 4 - this is correct, however your torpedo launchers can be tinkered and some may gain faster reload time.

So by the time last one is fired the first one most likely will be reloaded.

    Hope that answers your query.
