Another problem with the new skills

I notice that my Damage Master Skill % goes up as I shoot NCPs, but my Defense Master Skill % is still zero in spite of having taken damage to both my Voodoo Shield and my ship's HP. Isn't that how that one is supposed to advance?

everything works fine m8. Theres a diff in between masterskills , two of em need 75 points to charge up to 100 % ( damage and economy ) , Defense MS need 6 000 000 points ( vp or hp ) with have to be taken from you so simply it wont jump much after some npc hit ya for like 1 000 hehe . The best way to charge your defensive ms would be to go near cadoc get hit by em rep up and go bk again .

Should your Master Skill not gain any percentage even though you are completing the tasks required, please change to a different Master Skill on that Sheet and then switch back to your original one. It seems some players have had this issue and the above advice has solved this.

Hmm, logged in today and I see that my damage is now at 0% as well. It was not zero when I logged out. Do they get reset daily?

Both Damage and Defense are at the same level on the setup sheet (Master Level 2 and a percent), so both should be activated and accumulating charge %. Damage was yesterday, but that seems to be gone now (see above). I did take a lot of damage after assigning my skill points. Several million, probably not the full 6 million, but certainly enough that the charge percent should not be zero.

Whats happening?

 

So after my above post, I did the 'swap skills' and both damage and defense are now charging. I did lose all of the charge I had from yesterday. Are these being reset? do I have to completely charge and use a master skill in one session? One day? Shouldn't the charge stay and not be lost?

These values should not be getting reset. I believe this is being caused by a bug, which has been reported.

I myself have encountered this issue, when I log in the Master Skill equipped is not the Master Skill I had on previously, hence the reset of charge.
