Are the "Guild Islands" working correctly?

I am not real familiar with them and trying to learn. According to the Seafight Bible, I should be able to click on the island's Temple and pull up the tower diagram. And I should see a "flash" when I enter the island. And I should get a pop-up on the cost, and then I approve it to build my towers to a higher level. None of these features seemed to work. Is this a known problem? (This is why I did not post it in "Technical Issues", since I am uncertain). My screenshot is below. Thank you. P.S. Okay - I just tried again and clicking on the Temple *finally* works. But the other features did not... and I also never got notified when my island got attacked.

Upon reviewing your account we find no issue with your island menu (as shown on the picture below everything works fine and both island building as well as tower light up), however please be aware that the maximum tower level on map 5/1 is 4 - therefore your towers cannot be upgraded any further.

i have always the same issue as OP

the fix i have is instead of clicking the temple u have to click the small towers around the egde to get the box open
