    I notice the announcement that pet booty bag gems are now plus 2. Is this a permanent upgrade or limited to certain events etc ?

    In the announcement it say the ship booty bag will be upgraded by 2 lvl and yes its perm . i got booty bag from chests and the gems are lvl up!

    Ohh sory my mistake .. It is also the pet booty bag! For the pet booty bag i cant confirm cos i dont have them to open... But for the ship its perm!

    For both it is a permanent update. When gems were first released they were capped at Level 15, and they have slowly introduced levels as players get better gems. Right now the cap is Lv22 but I am sure in due course that will rise because Level 40 Gems have been written into the code since they were first introduced. Gem bags are then also updated a few months later to compensate for the increased maximum level. This is just a routine update but it is permanent yes. The maximum level you will commonly find in a Beastmasters Booty Bag (High Level Pet Gems) will be Level 20, although there is a small chance for this to be Level 21 instead. With Ship Gems, and Emperor's Booty Bag will now commonly give you Level 19 Gems, and also has a slight chance for one to be a Level 20 Gem. I believe the chance is 10% but I can't confirm this.
