Bots, Bots and Bots

Howdy Everyone,

First week back since 2013 when a large group of us higher level players left Seafight after playing for a number of years because of the inability of Bigpoint to take care of the bots and exploits used. My observation in a weeks time is that bot use is far more widespread and after contacting support they have lost control of the game. It could be that the game is in the downward trend of it's lifecycle and management is unwilling to spend the money to make sweeping changes. I can only speculate but have noticed some fairly sophisticated bots in how they react if fired upon to simple ones. Shiny, NPC and today sunk a 500hp bot programed to hit event items and only that.

So rather than invest my time back in Seafight or what we later called CheatFight in the old days how do I get my account deleted?

How long will it take? I need to have my personal info that Bigpoint has deleted also. No offers on pearls to come back or anything. Plus a hacker flooded chat this morning selling illegal scripts and told me he would hack my account.

 

They say 14 days if don't have premium or 14 days after premium expires if not logging in at least once a month but that's a line of bull too have and old account that's 7 or 8 years old and has not been logged into some times for months and still not deleted last time I waited 2 months this time will wait 3 and has not had premium in a couple of years. I deleted the email account info long ago so can not change password or anything lol. It's always funny they say but never do like perm bans for bots and exploits that is very reason will never have control of game cheats know they have no backbone period!

 

To answer your question, just dont log on, forget u even played the game, and sooner or later your ships wont be here. If you quit caring about them and stop looking in the better for u, just quit cold turkey and dont look back. (not flaming BP, but) they have lost control of the game a long time ago and dont see them getting it back anytime soon if things dont change for the honest players. But dont see it happening before they pull the plug, (just my opinion). I think they need a ban script run one a week and do it til the "others" finally give up and go somewheres else to do what they do. But, thats not going to happen Iam sure, either the bans or restarts are just an aspirin to the headaches this game is suffering. I really miss the old stack battles of 7+ years ago, that was when the game was still fun, not the constant "events" that are the norm now with no time for the "guild wars" of years past. They was a blast.

Thank you for the replies. What you said was confirmed by support and will not log in to my account. My old account with a maxed out boat was actually deleted by my choice back in 2013. Hopefully this is truly deleted after 14 days and I will know if I continue to get offers beyond that.

If thing continue the way they are this game will be fully automated with a battle of the bots which takes the appreciation of the hard work and for some of us hard earned money to build up those boats. We cannot buy back time spent and with this game so time intensive it is best for me to leave now.

One suggestion if you could pass on to the developers that our old group of honest players suggested is have a "Sink The Bot Out Of The Game Event" The developers would identify those bots deemed to be perma banned with a tag and the few remaining honest players would work together to sink the bots out of the game. Once perma sunk a generous amount of rewards stolen from the players and Bigpoint would be awarded to those playing a part in the sinking off the game and retaking an island if a guild has been known to condone exploits. This may be a good morale booster.

Ah! One can only dream!
