Bots, bots..EVERYWHERE!

This is really getting ridiculous! I'm a lvl 4, trying to get glitters in the 1 maps..so far there are over 10 bots in the 1 maps..don't suggest to level up and go into 2,3 n 4 maps when for example, i was in 2/4 and a level 30, yes 30 sunk me..and i couldn't even cross over into 1/4 cuz he was shooting me. newbie protection.. i've never had it.

When are you going to deal with this irritating problem?

i know i'm going to be told, bp doesn't care, sink em, or level up..but i'm not the only one who's suffering..those itty bitty baby boats can't even get 1 glitter!

1 more question..do the developers play the game? if they did (as a little boat) they would experience this crap 1st hand.

i'll probably will get the standard no answer from bp, as we are waiting for a response from whomever took Wiggins place in another thread.

if you had a bp boat you would see what i see.(pulling hair out)

 

New players and I mean an authentically new player to Seafight have virtually no chance in getting started and will soon quit. Especially 1 maps and lower maps are filled with bots. Many of those bots you see in the 1 maps are another account started by a higher level bot runner account. BP should change the name of the game to Botfight or Cheatfight

 

Go to the Behemoth map, and there is 19 bots of out 20 ships (mine excluded).

It's pathetic.

 

Not just new(er) players .... Plenty of older players have left in last 9 months and plenty more thinkin on leavin

 

i've seen a bot boat lvl 4 with speed of 924 with a pirate badge of navigator or higher in the 1 maps..huh?

 

They should have left it as 1-4 maps are no shoot for all levels and make is as above level 10 they cannot pick up shineys or chest thus giving new players a chance to get thier ships a bit stronger, you have ships that are staying below level 15 to be able to go into the sun raid map sinking out little players who do not have the ability to fight back.
Come on BP how many new players have tried to play and given up due to this? get a grip on things because we keep losing old players through botters and new players through no where for them to build up

 

Wouldn't that be great now especially with all these cheaters?


Today, went thru all 1 maps and the same bots are there, 24/7. ok, fine, I expected that, but can someone explain how their pirate badges keep growing, while I'm doing scrolls, shooting npc's, etc and mine is still a silver stick?..lol

BP please do something about these bots! You can't sink em in the 1 maps, and they stay in the 1 maps and they just keep getting faster, and here's me..da dum dee dum..compared to them I'm a snail! Maybe instead of all the shiney new upgrades, maybe you should FIX THE GAME FIRST!

As much as the seafight developers "try" to counteract bots they simply cannot stop them all however your beloved 1 maps will become 1 map.

Within the next couple of weeks seafight has plans to reduce the amount of maps we have on the game from 64 to 36.

With this in effect the 1 map botters will be restricted to just 1 map not 4 (1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4).

What does this mean for the bots?

• With less maps to bot in the botters will all be squabbling over the same shiny making it 75% slower for bots to progress.
• Botters will be left with no option but to level up leaving them open to being chain sunk by us angry players.

Keep your calm as this games about to get fun and very interesting!

well lets hope they introduce if not level 1 you cant access scrolls and pick chests from that 1 map they have to scroll from a pvp map and owww yes it will become fun and very very intresting

 

cause while your sleeping there still gaining thought that would have been blatently obvious

 

Dont kid yourself.... Bots run all the time.
Doesnt matter if theres shinys in the map or not.... Botts still run.They run 24/7 no lunch break,no bedtime.
Sink them and they are back at again...most time within a few seconds.

All thats being accomplished is that the maps are being consolidated, In effect,packing 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb bag.
This includes US, the players as well...all being crowded into a fewer number of maps.

Say ya got 20 botts running in the One maps thats 1-1 thru 1-4 plus another 50 that are real players.
With the change over thats proposed thats gonna put 70 boats in the same area.

Keeping in mind ya cant shoot anything but an NPCs in the One Maps... Those 20 botts are just gonna keep running and running,....untouchable. Just like they do now.

How long do you think 50 human operated boats,chasing shinys, will continue to try to compete against 20 botts running full time ??

10 mins? 5 mins? 2 mins? Or are the human op boats not even gonna try chasin shinys, cuz they already know the botts
will beat then to the shiny before they can even click on it.

Human op boats cant and will never be able to win against the Battle Against the Botts. Botts win everytime.

No...if anything, This change will have a series of unintended consequences and is just another nail in the coffin of
honest players.

Just another of a bunch of examples of how Sea Fight is lacking in direction and vision.

 

So maybe the question we should ask the developers and management is.

* Should the honest players that act in good faith quit the game now and spend our money elsewhere at a more customer focused online game company?

* Will you finally come out with Seafight developed and certified bot programs in the market offered during Happy and Mega Happy Hour for the rest of us to legally use which will help us even the playing game and save us valuable time.

* Will you permanently and once and for all ban those who legally break the rules by using bot programs which is not too hard to identify and I am certain you would have volunteers that could help going from map to map. We know who a number of them are.

 

that will be a first ,bigpoints inability to control any part of there game has left it where it is to day ....

 

But then the legit players will have even less shinies to pick up due to more bots in less maps.

 

Exactly which means there will be a higher concentration of bots in our maps. Yeah we can chain sink them bot we will be outnumbered and have to spend valuable pammo sinking them just so we can get shinies? It costs the bots nothing since they just auto repair within seconds and are on their way. We lose either way because BigPoint will not do anything about this.

 

Funny thing happened today..the bot that was ALWAYS in 1/4, who changed their name, is now in 1/2..hmm MAYBE they read the forums?
And WOW! look at all those shineys!
