Bots shooting players

    Serious question here, since when are there bots that can shoot players?

    It has been twice in two days now that two ships patrolling the map in the same pattern shot me.
    They started to shoot at exactly the same time and left in exactly the same direction at exactly the same time.
    In both cases.

    so 1) are there bots that can shoot players or am I seeing ghosts
    2) since when? and how is this allowed?

    yes they can and have for a while now

    and no its not allowed but bp havent stopped it

    good old seafight lol

    Somebody told me they cant recognise actual players and they can only attack you when you attack them first. But I for sure did not attack them.

    This has been forwarded. The only thing that I can suggest for now, and as always has been said; is to take screenshots of suspicious boats and send them into support.

    Reporting any changes regarding external programs is a great first step in helping us to keep up with those who use them. We do appreciate everyone's efforts. All new information pertaining to such matters is forwarded to the IT Team.
