    Bounty Hunter License System

What is the Bounty Hunter License system?

The Bounty Hunter License is a time-limited permission system that governs all PvP activity on normal maps.

It structures PvP into two paths:

    • Licensed
    • Outlaw
All PvP done without a valid license will mark you as an Outlaw.
What is a Bounty Hunter License?

A Bounty Hunter License is a consumable item that:
    • Grants legal rights to engage in PvP on normal maps
    • Awards Bounty Points and access to PvP progression rewards
    • Has a 3-hour duration
    • Expires without refund
    • Can be ranked up through kills and quests
    • Comes in two types: Region-bound and Universal
How do I get a License?

Buy them from License Issuer in Safe Havens.

You need to pay currency fees to buy the License.

The amount of currency will increase with higher tiers.
How many types of Licenses are there?

There are two types of licenses:
    • Region-bound: PvP only within a specific region (Moderate risk, local rewards, 2x XP)
    • Universal: PvP anywhere (High risk, global bounty, rare loot)
How long does a License last?
    • 3 hours from time of purchase
    • Only one license active at a time
    • Ranking up does not reset or extend the timer
What can I do with a License?

    You can legally:
    • Attack other licensed players, unlicensed players or Outlaws
    • Earn Bounty Points for each kill
    • Rank up your license to earn more rewards
    How does License progression work?

    Progress your license through:
    • Licensed kills or damages
    • Bounty Point
What happens if I attack without a License or outside of my license rights?

    You become an Outlaw instantly.
What happens if I die as a licensed player?

You will lose 25% of your Bounty Points and Leaderboard points upon being killed.
    What is an Outlaw?

An Outlaw is a player that attacks players without having a license.
What happens to an Outlaw player?
    • Loses all current licenses instantly (if they had a license and attacked without following the legal requirements)
    • Can’t use Aura of Protection
    • Is marked with the Outlaw Buff
    • Is hunted by Guardian of the Law and Atlantis Guardian of the Law
    • Earns Outlaw Blood Points through PvP
    • Can appear on the Outlaw Leaderboard
    • Will lose all Outlaw Blood Points and status upon death
Can I switch between Licensed and Outlaw play?

    Yes, but not simultaneously.

    Example:

    • You become an Outlaw, rack up kills, and earn Outlaw Blood.
    • You die → Lose all Outlaw Blood and Buff.
    • You buy a License, start fresh, and earn Bounty Points.
    • License expires → Points stay. If you attack without a new license, you become an Outlaw again, starting from scratch.
Your Outlaw ranking gets reset if you get a License. You will lose all Outlaw Blood Points when switching from an Outlaw to a Licensed player.
    What are the rewards?
    • With a License:
      • Bonus loot from kills
      • 15% additional currency loot if Rank 2 of any License type (Region-bound only)
      • “Licensed Kill” logs
      • Bounty Points toward License Rank
    • As an Outlaw:
      • Earn Outlaw Blood Points
      • Gain Notoriety and show on Outlaw Leaderboard
      • Trigger bounty rewards for other players who kill you
Attacks and kills per player are limited per day.
