I started the quest 'Ancient Orders' where I need to board 5 Corrupted Remains. I then boarded 2 of them, yet the counter still says 0/5 completed. What gives? Here are the log entried for one of them:

If I am not mistaken, it need more than 15000 boarding bonus to success in boarding them. Make sure your boarding bonus more than the amount.

    Ahoy,

Viewing the information you have posted in this thread, you got no reward for boarding this NPC which means you did not have a high enough boarding bonus as your fellow pirate has said.

Has your fellow pirates advice helped solve your query?

There is nothing at all about boarding in the event FAQ, is there some place where we are supposed to get that information? If there are more boarding quests down the line I'd like to know what bonus I'll need for them too.

    Ahoy,

You can see if an NPC is boardable by the Crossed Swords icon to the left of its name.

The Boarding Value of an NPC can only be seen by attempting to board the NPC, them viewing the boarding log to view your boarding value and your targets. To do this, open the Crew menu, click on the four lines to the right of the window, then view the value next too "Enemy value". My suggestion would be to use gold pirates and equipment first, check the value, then add elite pirates and equipment as needed.

I didn't know about the boarding log, that helps. Thanks, I've got my answers now.
