Can the developers tell the time?

Today restart sign flashes up at 14.00 stating that a restart will take place in 30 minutes, so fine, I think to myself loads of time to finish this Capricorn scroll. The next pop up appears (14.15) stating restart in 15 minutes as would be normally expected, meaning the restart will take place at 14.30 as was originally anticipated.

Wrong !!...... The developers go pull the plug only seconds after and the damn scroll freezes at 14.16 so a F5 refresh is needed only to get the familiar, LOST CONNECTION writing meaning a restart has already taken place earlier than was warned.

The fact these incompetent technicians cannot accurately tell the time does not surprise me in the slightest, it helps to explain why this game is infested with all the bugs and the technical glitches that we customers have sadly and continually had little choice but to endure.

For God's sake Bigpoint hire some competent and capable staff before it's too late, then you can send the current cowboys down the highway to work on bejewelled or some other technically less demanding game which may be within their (proven) limited capabilities.

 

Maybe there was a bigger issue and they had to pull the plug early? It was a good time seeing how the server was already going to restart and everyone knew it was.

Also, write to support... maybe they can compensate you for your Capri.

 

Cheers Larry - I'm not bothered about warnings or bans in the slightest. Not bothered either for compo...I was trying to get rid of the 115 Capri's that I already have, not get another out of them. lol.

I quoted their Red letter lost connection as it appears in Capital letters on their own seachart for true authenticity reasons.
I guess it's just another frustrating example which serves to further illustrate they can't even manage to carry out the simplest of tasks again without getting things wrong, let alone curing the numerous long standing problems with the game which we have all endlessly suffered.
