    a vote to change the mods from the ones we have at the moment

    I agree, Time for change. We need mods who don't play on the server.

  4. I'm sorry but I can't agree with the previous comments. Mods are usually volunteers, working for free and trying to help out wherever and whenever they can. They don't possess all wisdom and in the case of BP they often need permission from BP or they have to wait for possible answers / solutions from BP. See them as a kind of advocate / middleman between the players and BP. IMHO they earn at least our respect, credit and trust. OK I admit due to frustration with the game I have also created threads and e-mails using not so nice words. These words were not meant to the Mods but we have the habit, in the case of issues, of usually firing on the first person we can reach. we also tend to do this when we have an issue and when we get a negative reply. I have more then 10 years of experience as Mod as well as being an Admin on two gaming communities so yes I do understand how difficult it can be as a Mod and that you quickly learn that you can't help everyone the way you want. I became a Mod and later on an Admin because I wanted to share my knowledge regarding the games played on those two communities and because I wanted to help people with issues, questions, advice, etc,... Last year I have sent my application to Seafight UK community. Because my mother tongue is Dutch my application they sent my application to the Dutch Seafight community. Unfortunately I was told that they don't need additional Mods and in case they would need one in the future that they would review all the applications. So I guess it will never happen.

    Ahoy,

    Thank you for the kind words karma.

    We are indeed volunteers who treat this responsability as a real working job, granted we cannot help in every situation, but we do try our hardest. If you feel that our Moderation team is not performing as you would like, please send a report to the Customer Care Team with details of what you deemed to be of sound reason to change the way we do our jobs.

    This report will then be fully investigated, and if need be, Moderators will be given feedback on anything that needs changing.

    I hope I have given a satisfactory response to this :)
