cannon damage not working correctly

i have a mixture of admirals and voodoo cannons and maybe 2 other cannons on the boat but i have 12 decks ebony and ivory deck and i hit around 8k with hollows was wondering why i am not hitting harder than that and i have my skills set up for damage and i have my castles as damage as well please help me understand why i am not hitting as hard as everyone else with 12 decks my id is 146/40127014 help me understand please

 

I think it is because admirals are not the best of cannons to use for damage they are only really helpful if you are after gaining elp and exp and voodoo cannons I think only do more damage when firing voodoo ammo however ive been out of the game for awhile so I could be wrong if so sorry I couldn't be any help

admirals cannons let you hit harder with hollows no other cannon currently increases the hollows damage. voodoo cannons and 60 pounders hit harder only with pearl ammo. hope this helps.
