Cannon shot speed question

my cannons have different shooting speeds but in the game all shoot together... how come not at different times? or does it work on the average time for all cannons? if that makes sense lol

is there a thread i could read up on dedicated to cannon shooting speed with mixed cannons?

Ahoy,

These values are indeed averaged so that all cannons shoot at the same time.

There is not a thread which will breakdown the reload time for a mixture as cannons, as this value changes based on which cannons you have equipped, and as you can imagine, that is a lot of different variations

thanks for that, would say 1 cannon with a reload speed of 8 seconds and the rest of the cannons speed 5 seconds change the reload speed the same as say 100 of 8 second cannons ?

 

The reload speed varies with other factors as well. Skill, powder monkeys and sadly I do not have the equation. Are you satisfied with Swift's answer?

yes it is an average of the reload speeds, so it does make a difference.
