Cannot - all of a sudden Repair my ship - message says a Mate Req,d?

    Where do I get a Mate/Repair Mate to repair my ship?
    All of a sudden I just cannot do a ship rep and cannot find 'him in the Forum listings. So advice would be appreciated.

    this happen at times to me as well if you open settings and go to controls you can set a repair key i believe by defualt its R if you hit that key it should start the repair even if the repair icon doesnt work

    Hello Pirate,

    Your Carpenter (repair man) should be on your boat permanently (unless you are refering to level 5). You can check if your Carpenter is still on your boat by going to Crew - Assistants.
    If your Crew member is active please logout / in - this should resolve your issue.

    Thanks for all the above replies. With reference my carpenter was resident on my ship. Had tried log in n out as well a couple of times.
    This morning however my ship did allow a rep. Thanks agin everybody that replied.
