Can't get Elite skin?

    Under "Profile" it says I am level 1 Elite. However when I'm on the sea chart and I click the "ship" tab, and then go to "designs", I don't have the Level 1 Elite skin option. I have the Big Buccaneer. Any advice? Shouldn't the skin option be available?
    I play in the American West Coast server and my user ID is 146/41815606

    the big bucaneer is the level 1 elite.

    it should show as a white ship. in order to get a different elite you need to fill the orange elite points bar once you have enough you elite ship will automatically switch on the seachart. to get elite points shoot pearl ammunition or shot any ammo from admiral cannons.

    It's not the white ship, though. It's just the plain Big Buckaneer. I've been up to level 8 elite and I know what the level 1 ship looks like. This is not it.

    Try shooting something with elite ammo.
