Capping while under newbie?

    Is it true you can capp players and not lose newbie protection?

    Just got capped the guy didn't lose newbie protection and im certain my baby ship had it at the time. should this be possible or is it a bug.

    Ahoy mate,

    Any aggressive act (shoot player, NPC, monster etc....) should cancel out noobie protection. May I suggest that you send in the player's username and ID to support? They can look into this and see if there was any foul play from the other player.
