What does the words ''Elite ammunition bonus'' mean? I was thinking it will increase my cannon damage but it doesn't

 

any ammo that you purchase with pearls. example special pet gem adds 1000 for elites. so when i shoot elite can'n balls i get the 1000 bonus.

if your shooting hollows it wont do anything
if your shooting pearl'' ammo you'll see the slight bonus

I knew this fact initially,but i didn't see any bonus,although i have Dooms,fires,Devs and voodoos on my ship. Maybe i need to make a test and compare,but i expected more ((

As already explained this value provides you with damage increase equal to the Elite ammunition bonus when you are using Elite ammunition. This value is commonly gained from your cannons as you have mentioned. For example, if you have 10 Doomhammers level 5, your damage will increase by 150 each cannon, so 1500 total.

The castle would then increase whatever your total elite ammunition bonus is by the percentage amount, so the level 8 castle would increase it by 8%. This means that the higher the initial "Elite ammunition bonus" the more benefit you will receive from the Castle.
