These sales are very overpriced . Even for seafight standards its insane . I understand you had to steal our cannons but no one is going to buy 3 overlord 4 recipes for 15 euros. Insane prices
Make recipes available for yulong or crowns or something idk

I agree 100%. The recipes are ridiculously priced. And when you consider the fact that it takes 64 level zero cannons to get *one* level six cannon, it is a joke. (I will never even consider buying any upgrade recipes until they dramatically drop the prices and increase the quantities).

  3. That doesn't makes any sense. You'd better off buying packages that contains already good cannons in it. Depending on your pirate level (level 25, if I recall it correctly), you can buy "all hands on deck" package 2 times, 70 US each, and you can get some very useful stuff. 100 level 5 bastion, 100 level 4 overlord 7 level 6 reinforced ribs, 200k crystals, what not... if you buy the 2 packs, you can get 400 good cannons, get done almost all skill points, it is a pretty good deal. That's what I did... But if I could think again, they won't get a dime for their behavior and treatment towards us. Not cool to say the least.
Everything is, and it doesn't make any sense from a business perspective. I don't know who makes decisions there, but they are doing a terrible job. If they would lower the prices and actually offer good deals for everyone, they would get more sales, as more people would be able to put some of their hard earned money in it. Not everyone can spend hundreds of dollars for nonsense, continuously. And those few who can, they wouldn't even think of it, ha-ha. By lowering the prices and actually offering value, they could boost their sales many times over, but whatever... I'm not smart, just a simple guy. But even I could do it better.

I think that these are very constructive criticisms/opinions. I would like to see the comments of others, and hope this thread is not closed prematurely.

  5. They don't like fair criticism though, as the truth hurts, but it is what it is. I'm on my fellow players side and never afraid to speak my mind. Instead of trying to be "smart" and be a ripoff, if they would actually offer value for money they would be way more successful. People aren't stupid, they know what it's all about. If we want to be real, with the current reputation of the game, (That is tumbling even more down since I first quit back in 2015, as it seems) they couldn't even get close to the price ranges they have set up. They would be lucky to be somewhat more successful with 1/3 of the price of everything in the game. And it would be still expensive. The good foundation of any business is customer satisfaction. (The thing they don't even know what that means.) What they should do, build up trust and correct their reputation, rethink everything and focus on what is important, instead of treating people like they are fools and be a ripoff. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! Happy customers are always willing to open their wallets. But they are pretty bad at business, as all those years have proved it. Whatever....

I mean, look at that! Is that reasonable for that amount of in-game currency? No, it's insane! It's a ripoff... what would be reasonable in my mind, is anything between 6.99$ to 9.99$ That's about acceptable for that amount. In a saturday afternoon, I could just do a couple of bonusmaps I got FOR FREE in the game, and in a couple of hours I could triple that amount easily, without spending any... 200$ for that? :D Whatever.... good luck.

You hit on several good points. These types of games are supposed to be based on "micro-transactions" (a few dollars). The fact that they have "virtual" items for sale that cost way more is crazy. I think it is easier to get $1.00 from a thousand players than it is to get $1,000 from one player. That is the business approach I would take. And the $199.99 pearl offering above is *way outdated*! (I myself currently have over 230 million pearls). It pays to shop carefully. You can find one package that costs 30 dollars <--(still too high) and another package at 40 dollars has twice the stuff!

I know that Bigpoint has to sell things to make a profit. But in doing so, you are right: "customer satisfaction" rules! Like one successful grocery store on the U.S. East coast says. They have the motto: "Rule #1 - The customer is always right". "Rule #2: If the customer isn't right, reread Rule #1".

  7. It's just common sense though, not rocket science... and that's not even all, I could write a whole book about what is wrong with their "business" model and their mentality. But I don't want to get too deep into it, as I have said it previously, truth hurts. And they don't like it, because it reveals what they really are and their intensions. Back in 2015 when I had enough and decided to quit, I got banned for my fair criticisms on my native forum, which is hungarian, as my username clearly suggests it. They couldn't even provide a good and enjoyable experience, the game is still full of bugs, errors, cheaters, (with those prices it's not surprising at all btw), and they don't want to do anything about it, other than pretend that they care. And you want me to pay you hundreds of dollars for this nonsense? :D Look, I'm not even 30 years old, I'll be 29 soon to be exact, and I have my own business that is thriving. People even leaving 30 to 50$ tips just for honest advices and opinions, and when I refuse to take it, they will leave it on my table anyway... and that's because I don't take advantage of that, they don't know something that I'm familiar with, and not treating them like fools, or want to take their money for no reason, just because I can. There is a lot of things for bigpoint to learn, but after all those years, and it is still the same or even worse... there is no hope for them I guess.
