Changes to Diminishing Returns

I noticed and read that you had increased the time that we would benifit from diminishing returns from 1 hour to 2 hours when we logged on. However I've noticed that since that change the only time you don't get extra 10% from many of the event npc.

Is this an error or how it is now designed. I may have missed a post, can this please be clarified.

Thank you for the reminder, but having checked ourselves it seems to be working as usual. Still receiving 10% bonus to pearls and crowns.

For normal NCPs this is true, it was the event NCPs that did not show the 10% bonus. It is possible that the bonus was there, bbut it was not shown with the 10% bonus in the on see notice nor the logbook entry. Here is a sample. Event ship sunk just before an normal NCP.

Thank you. We tested on regular NPCs . As the event is over there is nothing further we can do.

I noticed this before the change to the diminishing returns system, I assumed it was just a design feature for the birthday event. Aswell as not being affected by the +10% Bonus, They were not subject to the diminishing negative returns which in my opinion raised the amount of pearls you could gain overall as I was going into -50% before logging out for bed. I've also noticed that at the end of the event I managed to accrew up to -100% Diminishing returns due to the update which was previously impossible.

 

As this is not a discussion thread, this thread will be closed and we will continue to investigate the matter.
