Chat problems

    well whenever i goto the game (sea chart) the chat opens but wont connect...
    i have tried to clear my browser and refresh the sea chart but still wont connect....
    Please someone tell me how to fix this.... since chat is rly useful on this game

    Ahoy mate,

    If your chat is not connecting to the server, then that is an internet issue. Check to make sure you have a strong connection. If the chat box is physically not appearing, then that is a different issue. Under options go to graphics> tick chat box. Then restart your browser. See if either of these help. Thank you.

    Well... that didnt rly help the chat is appearing but it wont connect.... and its not even because my internet is not strong enought... coz i have another laptop in same wifi network than this laptop and there the chat works just fine

    If you can connect via the other laptop, then it is the computer you are using. Have you tried switching browsers?

    yes i have... i have tried opera - chrome - torch none works

    Please try clearing your flash cache, this is different from normal browser cache, this may resolve your problems with chat as it resets all the data.

    That didnt help either -.- but i also spotted before&after
    that in the Local storage setting by site it says seafight and then 0 bytes is that normal?

    That should be set to 100kb roughly. This can be done by logging into the game screen. There, right click on the water click settings>click the folder icon> move the slider to 100kb. Please let us know if this helps.

    Didnt help i did but it up to 1Mb
    but it still wont store any data to the flash player
    Maybe thats why the chat wont work... any idea how to fix this?

    Unfortunately mate, I do not. All I can say is that if you can connect via your laptop but not the other computer, some settings or connection is off on your computer as it is still possible to connect via other machines.
