    Options (F8) ----> Star Configurator and RESET Caht Window.
    Else, Options (F8) ----> Graphics ----> Elements and active Chat(reboot required).

    This is an option that your fellow player has stated also try clearing your browsing history and cache, also your flash player to see if that works for you.
