Citrine Gem

So i got this gem the other day and was very excited to finally get some wind behind my sails haha, but a little while after equipping it i've noticed that it has actually reduced my speed by 1?, When using my Repair Design my Speed is 777 according to Ship Equipment, When switching over to my Attack Design with the +80 Speed Gem, Its showing up at 776 Speed. So I'm wondering if this is a graphical glitch or a known bug with the gem?

One thing also is, I have no skills in Voodoo Velocity, So I have no idea why its saying I have x1 of it?

its plus 80 speed in burning state only

 

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure the gem you have equipped is for speed when your ship is damaged / burning.

For extra speed when not damaged i believe you need the +49 speed Topaz Gem

 

You are correct, thank you I should have looked it up in the seafight bible, I assumed because it said only +80 speed it was on all the time. This can be closed.

As you can see it is only active when damaged or burning. For increased speed under normal conditions you would need:
