    Out of curiosity, if shards of forever are now official in-game event currency, will it be possible to use them for other things, such as purchasing crystals for skills or even upgrades? I ask cos I noticed they seem to have a much higher value than pearls during this past event . .

    Ahoy,

    Shards of Forever are an Event Currency now, you are correct. The Shards of Forever which have been collected during this event shall be exchanged once the Black Market ends. The following quote has been taken from     The Seafight Trophy 2018 Event FAQ:

    I am unable to tell you when or if Shards of Forever shall be available again, or the items which will be purchasable with them, as this is the choice of the Game Designers.

    No . . was hoping that if they remain in the game, they could be used as additional currency in the game other than just an event . . please close and thanks
