Damage Inflict with Black Gun Powder

    My query is my damage inflicted with black gunpowder on is lesser than without it. Is it normal?

    Ahoy,

    Black Gunpowder does not increase your Damage, instead it increases your Critical Damage, and your Hit Probability.

    If you already have 100% Hit Probability on your target, then you will not see any increase in damage for your normal hits. When you get a Critical, you should see a small increase in Critical Damage.

    The damage calculation has a variance in damage for every cannon depending on hit chance and other damage modifiers. So it is not so easy to see the impact this has on your total damage.

    Please be aware that the damage calculations are regularly checked by the programmers and we are informed that this is working as designed.
