What did you do with tortuga light I have been using 2-5 of them and when I use it cancels himself none near me none shooting me!!!!Wasting tortuga + time to reuse it for nothing wake up and fix this

yup I already reported this issue too, I figured out its not the repair function. it's just randomly de-activating

I am not aware of any changes that has been made to the Light of Tortuga.

There are a few reasons as to why a Light of Tortuga might deactivate;

• Player is close to the user
• The user gets damaged by a player (Voodoo Bomb)
• An aggressive NPC has an active lock on you (it has shot you), you then moved out of range, if you come back into range before its 'reload' has finished it can shoot you and deactivate your Light of Tortuga
• If you have been sunk with Damage over Time active (i.e. been sunk by a player using Burning Ice Ammunition), although you will not take any damage, the Damage over Time ticks will still deactivate your Light of Tortuga, so I recommend waiting 10 to 15 seconds before activating one should this be the case.

I will of course forward both of your comments and we shall look into this further.
