Hi guys, so im not sure how many of you have been on the beta.
But for me, i tested it had a little bit of fun and even recorded some of my gameplay. With very little lag, in some pretty big battles.

Now what i would like to know, is why do i get severe lag on UK server, compared to the BETA, yet on the BETA in theory some of the battles should be laggier than the battles im having on UK. Considering i dont record on UK because i can't due to lag..

Now UK has around 3k players. id say maybe 500 active players a month.

Beta has probably x3 that in terms of active players.

What does the UK server have that BETA dosent? cuz it has alll the normal stuff etc..
Yet for some reason i don't lag on beta. but lagg really badly on UK..
Would love it if a mod could get some details from developers, and for them to check out the differences as it dosen't make sense.

There could be something behind this..

It certainly isn't to do with active player base, as the UK is quite dead compared to the beta lolol.

This really should be checked out. As the BETA is certainly playable in fights, but the UK isn't -.-

My theory would be that the Beta server lags less and is just all around better in most instances because future money making updates are tested on that server, they want it to preform well so they can spit out those expensive updates, they don't care about normal servers as long as players pay.

no offence intended here bro but you are miles away from the truth the beta server is there to test new features and updates that will be implememnted to normal servers. the seafight team lately have been taking the lag issues very seriously indeed.

now as for the test server lag no existant situation i will bet all my savings its to test the next phase of the ams system and im really really hoping that the non lag is actually part of the system.

also remember the test server is not open that often so doesnt get clogged up with loads of data. the uk server has years and years of data all stored so that could be a contributing factor to why the test server runs alot smoother. also remember there is alot of people registered on the uk server and all that data is saved too.

True, i wouldn't get my hopes up on the new AMS though. Played the test server before they put the AMS on there to be tested and i didnt lag.

I guess i could go with the theory of the years of data being stored. but surely there reaches a point where some of this data isn't needed and can be removed?

Although I agree with you on some points, you proved my point saying the server is for testing new features when I said the server is only for expensive updates, new features and expensive updates have been the same thing for the past few years, your not offending me when your repeating what I just said, new features are always expensive and if you haven't noticed that then you need to wake up.

This appears to be fully answered. Not all features are active on the beta server therefore things flow a little easier, it is there to test a lot of behind the scene and game play items.
