Dmg Prevention Clear it up

Been off for awhile and need a recap, does damage prevention stop and pvp damage or is it solo pve ? aka npc ?

 

I believe that damage prevention applies mainly to PVP damage and some PVE.

damage prevention applies mainly to PVE and only a tiny bit PVP, it's dodge chance that applies to PVP and some PVE. to save confusion. there is a trophy that applies to npc dodge chance, this goes towards damage prevention and not the pvp dodge chance

I will try to make it lil bit more clear for you m8.
So in short , your damage prevention affect your opponent / npc cannon damage bonus
your dodge chance affect your opponent / npc hit prob

It would be wise to wear both damage prevention and dodge on ship. + I would recomend you dodge chance and hit prob on pet for pvp/regular npc farming
