Dodge Chance.

This statistic is not consistently displaying correctly. I checked on a player who had high dodge, and compared his to mine. My PvP setting normally runs a fair amount above 100%. It was at 83%. I had my normal items all active, like smokescreen, so I checked another of my set-ups. It was at only 68%. I rechecked the PvP setting, and now it is 108.31%. I also rechecked the second set-up, and now it shows 93.55%. That's a huge difference of about 25%, and I changed nothing on my set-ups. You might wish to pass this on, unless you know what is causing this. (If so, I would appreciate being enlightened). Thank you.

 

In case u are using light of turtga in last few minutes ur dodge/HP falls down (so if this is what u mean)

As pirate cʟαш very astutely pointed out above, the Light of Tortuga is playing some weird tricks with our stats (and it makes no sense). In Stage 2 of the LoT, my dodge chance drops 25%. I would accept that, except for the fact that what it states happens (see below) is deifinitlely not happening. For example, my dodge chance isn't being decreased 1,550%, and my hit points aren't increasing by over 40 million. This thing appears to be badly broken. Can someone please take a look at this? Thank you.

As you have discovered with your testing and findings and as pointed out by your fellow Pirate cʟαш the Light of Tortuga does in fact make a difference to your dodge chance during its different phases.

As for the error with the Hitpoints aspect I am aware of this as I also discovered this mistake recently during some testing, It should actually read 750,000 (during stage 2) not 46,500,000.
This is a display error only.

I have forwarded this information to the relevant parties to be looked into and corrected.

I also see no change whatsoever in my ship speed. That isn't a "display error", or is it? (And this makes me also wonder about "hit probability").

 

Hello there Pirate,

As we have discussed, and as you are aware, The light of Tortuga goes through 3 phases, Each phase may or may not alter some of your stats, Namely speed, hit points, hit probability and also as previously discussed, dodge chance.

As the light goes through its different phases some stats will change, some will remain, for instance, your dodge stats will change during different phases when you activate the light. until you lose the light and return to base stats.

Dodge stats will lower, Hit probability stats will increase during different phases.

As you mention speed, This increases slightly during different phases of the Light of Tortuga.
Please note, some of these stat changes during the phases are so small you may not notice the difference in your speed as you sail however, all is working correctly.


These statistics are correct and there is no display error regarding speed as far as I am aware.

As there is nothing further to add to this discussion I will close this thread.
