    Hello there Pirate,

There are many factors that come into play when setting up pre-sets for either PVP or PVE depending on what items you have at your disposal, Which extensions you have, Gems, cannons, buffs etc.
Taking advise from players can be helpful and give you an idea of what may work but I find the best advise is to play around with your set up and do some testing with what you have available to see what works best for you.
Remember when talking of PVP, a lot will depend on the set up your opponent is using, You may find you do huge damage to some players, and little damage to others depending on what they have set up.

However, It is widely regarded by most that in general Dodge chance works well in PVP and Damage prevention works well for PVE set ups.

Helo. What if we put both Damage prevention and Dodge chance gems in same setup does it make better for PVP?

    Hello there Pirate,

    In general:

Damage prevention will lower your target damage taken.
Dodge chance will lower your target hit probability taken.

So for PVP I would recommend as you suggest and use both.
